DarthGorilla, yeah the Kashyyyk we seen in Ep III will be of a beach Wookiee city, but that is plausible as long it is not stated "there are no huge trees with levels etc etc".

As for George and his vision, the EU Kashyyyk was based on what he said Kashyyyk should be like - not just locations but also the social aspects - and the wookiee rite pf passage to go into the dangerous lower levels. Before the idea of Endor and ewoks in ROTJ, it was going to be Wookiees at the end, but George wanted a low-tech race to bring down the Empire and he had established in ANH and ESB that Chewie was more adept with tech than Han on ocassion.

I'm wondering if we will even see Dosha, the Trandoshan world in the Kashyyyk space sector. I have doubts as to Kashyyyk AND it's space sector being EU accurate. We have pretty much recycled environments(Tattooine-Lok) and kessel has become coruscant or Nar Shadda. I love Kashyyyk in the Thrawn trilogy, young Jedi knights series, and several of the other books it has made an appearance in. A planet covered by massive trees sounds awesome, but as difficuly as Corscant to pull off. We don't have coruscant because of how hard it would be to pull it off. I know George has an "interesting" view of Kashyyyk in Ep. 3, but I don't think Kashyyyk should be done all the same as what we'll see just to put it in game. Make it accurate, or at least seemingly accurate or don't do it at all.

Not really a spoiler, but the devs will be safe as to continuity by just showing a flat coastal area, and maybe just some tallish trees. Because in Ep3, thats all we see. To minds at ease I do think one of those screens is very elevated. In this game I don't see what we can stand atop a mountain, and not essentially code a really tall tree as though it were elevated terrain. It should have also been easy then to have high up Wookie tree cities, since with constraints (ala KOTOR) you would be able to fall over the sides or experience anywhere but the plateforms and bridges (I could live with that).

Wishing SWG2 will have far more Warsy feel...
