Thread: Any info on the Space mission that grants access to Jabba?

Unfortunately, I've already completed the Theme Park ages ago, and have already been a 4-4-4-4 Pilot when they added the mission in the patch, so I'm pretty sure my 'What does this look like, an unemployment office?' message was due to those facts. And they already removed the mission feedback threads from the 'In Live' forums, so there's not much to see there.
I can't believe that no one actually did this mission? Come on, people, let's hear some feedback.

She gets the "What does this look like, an unemployment office" response still.
You don't need to deal with Reelo. At some point, just running my normal Smuggler's Alliance missions, I was given a pass to enter Jabba's palace. I think it may have been the "I've got some special work for you" one from Tatooine Station. You have to sign it and then you can get in to talk to Biessa. The guy at the gate will tell you you need to talk to Reelo, but you don't unless you're interested.
What levels is your wife?

If its like the emperors retreat, all you have to do is ask the tatooine space station for a mission and when it is complete you will be able to land at jabbas.
BEWARE !!!!!!!!!!!!
I did this equivalent mission from the naboo station and got access to land at the emperors retreat, which is a HUGE convenience, and upon clicking on the "land" option i went to the loading screen and then the game crashed. I ended task in the program manager and relogged in, voila there i was, right out front of the emperors retreat. So i go talk to my trainer there, get another mission, and go look for the ship terminal to launch, and i look some more, look more, look more. It is not there!!!!
Now my damn ship is stuck there, and i cannot get the phantom terminal to appear, and i have relogged in 3 times so far.

Well, since we ran the Theme park enough to get her into the Throne Room, and worked together on our missions, we're both 3322 now.
When she went to the Tat station, she never got the "Special Assignment" option. Even after getting 2222 and being told go to see Beissa.

The terminal is supposedly hidden in a back room in the emperor's retreat....

The problem with that theory is.. when you ask the space station for a mission, you get a snide "What does this look like, an unemployment office?" in response.

yeah I didn't land ,
but today I tryed the new ships newbies get, ( the term eperimental, made me think new style), I was grr, it's the same styles
anyways, if you start as a Tat priveteer, (smuggler), you start off with the ability to land at jaba's, least I did on my brand new character at the end of the very first misson, the one you get for talkint to the trainer and getting your ship.

I'm not sure if this has any bearing on it, but I'm in a similar situation and thought I'd share.
At 2221, I'd been blasting round Endor building up XP by taking potshots at Tier 4 X-Wings, which didnt take too long to reach the requisite 60000 Xp points.
Hyperspaced back to Tatooine and spoke to the Space Station, intending to land and go see the Valarian trainer to get trained (naturally)
When I told the cheerful Gran on board the space station I wanted to land, I got the response "Wait, that name....." and then words to the effect that Jabba had a special job he needed doing and would I like it. Naturally, I said Yes, got the mission waypoint on screen and all is well.
Decided to land first, get trained and the carry on with the mission.
Spoke to the Valarian trainer who told me she couldn't do anything for me at the time as I was "busy"
"Stuff that", I thought "I want training", opened my datapad and ended the mission, in the thinking that I'd be able to get another one from the space station next time I was in space.
However, when I speak to him now, all I get is the standard "employment agency" reply. Although, I can now land at Jabba's Palace - I just can't get in as my Jabba faction is -1800.
I'm hoping it was meeting the necessary XP points that prompted the job offer in the first place and that it will happen again when I get the necessary Xp for another skill.
If not, it looks like I'll have to do the themepark in the ground game. As I am not too far off the necessary Xp, I shall keep you posted.
Guess this'll teach me not to be impatient in future.....

I am also a non-combatant looking for access to Jabba's crib.. I have the following update:
1. I think the Tatooine space station mission is broke since it just disappears and displays the "what do I look like" message in your spatial.
2. You can land at Jabba's landing pad and the starport terminal is in the small building beside it.
However, this has nothing to do with access to Jabba and you will still be kept out.
3. The smuggler at the door is useless.. so are all npcs around the lair. (when it comes to non theme park entry)
4. "Garrett" who is flying around near the Hutt claims POI (mentioned in latest patch) will only assist you if you have possitive Jabba faction (go figure)
5. I could not find A'LerRis near Nalera's mining station POI or Kelen Wordka near Tatooine station so I can't say what they provide yet.. hope to find them soon and update as well..
Looks to me like the mission to access Jabba's for us space junkies and non-Jabbites is broken and we will have to wait for a fix.

OK, adding a bit more...
Filled up enough XP to theoretically train for a Tier 3 skill (ie 200000 XP points)
Spoke to Mr Cheerful on space station - same reply as normal.
So, I landed and on the off-chance, went to see the Valarian trainer, who now directed me to speak to Talon Kaarde which lead to me being told to go report to Breissa at Jabba's Palace. As this didn't happen last time, I hoped this would sort things
Got to Jabba's, only to be told to take a hike
Spent most of last night in the middle of Mos Eisley killing Valarian thugs, building up my Jabba points.

It may be some time before I take any Tier 3 missions......

This is where my privateer character is as well- having been referred to Jabba by Valarian's agent and Talon Karde, with positive Jabba faction and I just keep getting locked into the Reelo quests thread. I am pretty positive at this point that either the Pilot access to Jabba mission is MIA - or what 'triggers' it, is so obscure that you'd need to create a new SA privateer and do just the right things in order to make it happen.
Hopefully whatever this quest is will eventually be implemented for all tier 2 to 3 SA pilots in the future? I mean, how hard would it be to just blanket drop those mythical access passes to Jabba in all known tier 2 complete - but no tier 3 missions completed yet - SA pilots?
I'll just be patient and wait, my rebel pilot doesn't seem to have any of these nasty ground game snags - which is crazy, as all the pilot professions should either require a themepark or not - rather than the randomness of it all now.
Thanks for the updates though, keep them coming as there might be some convoluted secret way of making this happen no one has thought of yet :-)

I have been stuck in the same boat for weeks now.
Collating information from threads :
-> it does seem that the mission to get access to the pallace is starting at the space station
-> i have never managed to get the station master to reply anything else than the employment agency line
-> i did all of Garett's missions : they are a dead end (xp + cash)
-> none of the mission NPCs (Darvis / Talon / Shamdon / Garett) will give me any more work and all repeat the same dialogs (ie. go talk to Beissa)
someone suggested that surrendering your pilot skills and starting over fixed the station mission problem : i tried and it didn't work for me (hint : you can fly a ship with components you are not certified for if they were already loaded in the ship)
my current best guess : the tatoine space station is bugged.
and yes : the Tusken leader is a deep red con, and considering that the palace is mostly deserted, i can't find anyone to help me.
THIS IS DRIVING ME INSANE.
