Ok , this is what truely pisses me off. It seems that SOE people have diffrent answers to the one question I started this post with. Now I ordered from Gamestop also. If that CSR is right ,im going headhunting. THATS JUST BAD BUSINESS! It clearly said order now for your special Flash speeder ,witch we all did. Maybe we should contact the BBB ( better business Bureau) if this turns out so. I myself have to wait until Friday when mine arrives. Keep thelatest wordcoming gang. Maybe we can get a word or 2 from Thunderheart???

Dont give me that BS. If you can get your hands on a beta copy from Gamestop, your getting your flash speeder. There is no proof of when you purchased the pre order disc. For all you know, I took a copy from Gamestop yesterday or even today and received my speeder. There is no proof. If you can obtain a disc of the beta with the code, you are getting your speeder. There is no such thing as October 22nd. Trust me, try getting a hold of a pre order disc from retail store if anyone has. You'll see for yourself.

What annoys me to all hell is that SOE/SWG sent out thier newsletter on Oct 22 specifically offering the speeder as a gift for a pre-order.

Since this is apparently not so, this qualifies as false advertising or just lame employees without a clue, and can't update info properly.
Either way, this is gonna be another situationwhere Gamestop/EB and SOEsit and pointfingers at each other.
What is obvious is that SOE cares more about advertising and sales than honesty.
It's thier game, they are completely responsible for the cd keys, advertising and promos. So don't give me this bull about needing to contact my location of purchase since you told me buy from them.
What suprises me, somewhat, is that the lack of concern for this debaucle. If gamestop/EB IS really responsible... Wouldn't ya think that SOE would want to do something since folks are pretty angry about it and not happy with SOE atm. Most companies don't like it much when a company they are working with screws up.
Doesn't looks like it's Gamestop's/EB's fault at all imo.
BTW...
If they announced anywhere, previous to Oct 22, that only pre-orders before Oct 14 would be eligible for the speeder, I can't find it.

I didn't get my beta keys either so yesterday Iemailed EB Games with my order numbers and I got 2 emails today with my cd keys. Email EB games or Gamestop, they seem to be more responsive than SOE.

I preorded from GS on 23th trough a link from the launchpad saying if I go there, I WILL get the speeder.. Seems that was just a bunch of bull.

Unfortunately this is not correct. Here is the reply I got today via email:

I am sorry to hear that you are having problems with your pre order key.
Unfortunately you will need to contact the retailer you purchased the game from to inquire about the extra bonus key. Sadly, it is up to the retailer to supply its customers with the pre order key.
