Thread: Did anyone pre-order from EB and not get the promo cd?

I preordered on the 20th from EBGames, and it doesn't look like I'm getting a bonus disc with it 
I sent a lengthyemail to EBGames about how I ordered well before the offer came to an end and I deserve to get the one thing I really preordered for, the Flash speeder. They said they were out of the bonus discs, so I intend to contact a game authority once I get JTL.

I orderd on 10/18/04. JTL + Bonus. Kept checking my order status on EB's website and it showed the PROMO option as shipped. I have items shipped to my office and was wondering if it was actually shipped or if it was just something they would include in the Full-Version copy. Well, I noticed that it was shipped USPS...aka "Snail Mail". My company has a P.O. Box and the physical address, sometimes USPS mail gets routed around and can take days to get here. On top of that, our receiving dept is kinda lax on getting our mail to the divisions.I went back there to ask about my mail andlo and behold my pre-order beta copywas sitting in our mailbox. Don't know how long it was back there, but I got that part of it. The actual Full Version is still showing unshipped.
So to reiterate, they shipped it US Postal and I was expecting FedEx or UPS.

Same here. I just now realized that by pre-ordering from ebgames I would have to wait longer to play. They are only shipping out the game today when I could go buy it at a local EB right now. Too bad they won't let me cancel my order to pick it up locally. I NEED MA CRACK! "You have been rewarded for your advance purchase with an increased waiting period CONGRADULATIONS!"

I walked into the store and pre-ordered through GameStop. I don't order online because I am hardly home during the day, and when I am home, it's like 11pm at night. Heh.
Also, I live in an apartment complexe, and my mailbox is so small, I doubt that it would accomodate the JTL box... really.. it's THAT small heh...
Anyway, since I pre-ordered through walk-in to the store, am I still eligble for the Speeder?

I got my beta disk out of their PA facility on friday

Wow... umm.. I actually am not the one who pre-ordered heh.. umm.. my um... wife... did...
She never mentioned anything to me..
Damn! Maybe they'll give me the disk when I pick up my copy. If not, I have a valid receipt that I preordered... I'll just call SOE and inform them of the issue.

Say you didnt want to wait for it to ship and was a crack head and ran out and bought the game from the store and entered the cd from that will that effect your preorder key, or is that key a different enity in it self(sorry bad speller). i figured i may run out a buy one and give the one thats shiped to me to my friend, and is there data that is installed from the cd or when you enter the key for jtl, is you client just unlocked so you can fly the ships in space. that way when i receive the jtl in the mail ill just email the cd key to my friend.
