I used to have FF ona while back. Then I got a X-wing and mounted three lasers, which I sometimes shoot all at the same time. But if I do that with FF my Sidewinder starts to rock the desk wildly. So three lasers mounted and FF on equals massive bruises.

So, you're saying that you get Force Feedback when you fire?
I don't.

Yubs massive with when shooting with the three mounted lasers at the same time. Not so bad when shooting one or two at the same time.

Hmm, I only get FF when I have my armor hit, get hit by a missle, or collide with an enemy.
Maybe you guys need to switch drivers.
I have A Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback Pro which does not have official XP drivers (it's a pre-Xp Joystick)
But there are default FF joystick drivers which XP has that I'm using, and it correctly lists my joystick under game controllers.

I tried my Sidewinder Force Feedback Pro and had the same problem. After running one mission my arm was tired from trying to stabilize the kickback. I did not hink of going to the windows tool set and turning it down. I will have to try this cause after one try with it I put it away.

I have the same JS, but i kinda like the ff effect when they hit my armor, it really gets the point across that you are in trouble. You should be able to turn the ff down, in the calibrate program that came with it.

Hi,
You can download the full sofware program for MSFF2 joysticks here:
www.Driverguide.com
It works for 2000, not tried xp.
Has the adjuster for feedback power and return to centre pull.
Plus the test programs, like the helicopter gyro for testing strength.

Good info!
I wonder if it will work with my MS sidewinder FF pro 1 (the original pre-xp ff ms joystick)

Im thinking about putting this in my template.. Does this work with drain force? I notice with force absorb,it is not a reduction on drain force... Unless if its very very little. My main goal is to minimize the force that is drained from me... Absorb is not working... do u guys see the same thing?
