NEWSFLASH PvP is NOT roleplaying period.
Roleplaying a character has nothing to do with pvp or pve. You play the character as actors do in a movie as if the character is real the aspects of the environment pve/pvp has no bearing on roleplay. WOOT PWN is not roleplay.
You are correlating WOOT PWN and PvP into the same context. That's not so. I few kids do not define PvP.
Back when I played paper-based RPG, the characters would get into fights with mobs, but sometimes with each other as well. Is that not PvP? Player versus Player...hmmm...yep I guess it is.

Different ships and skills completely. On the ground everoyne can be any proff, reguardless of faction.Neutral pilots were lead to believe they could pvp in kessel. Now after all that grinding SOE changed that. Valid complaint. Some people are just too stupid to look past their own problems.
There were a lot of other possible solutions to the master mission problem. The easiest was chosen. I smell hotfix!

No, we don't need another PvP zone. Kessel was, as it was, the greatest thing, in terms of 'starwarsyness' to happen to SWG in the past six months. If there is such a significant amount of players that don't want Master missions in a PvP zone, move them to a PvE zone, instead of taking away the best content in Jump to Lightspeed.

Well if the pvp issues were addressed kessel would be fin the way it is.
The problems is they have not been addressed and the little kiddie gank squads forced a "stop gap" to the problem which hopefully will not be permanent once the disparity in PVP isa adressed
or just master the profession and choose a side!
in case you can't tell, i'm being facitious. hey at least you can still /duel (for the time being)

well all everyone wanted was to move the mission not un-pvp the zone. or let people just grindout the 7 mill to get master without forced PVP. let the ganksquads gank all they want in kessel without forcing anyone to go there if they dont want to.
personally i just want the master box without being forced to PVP. being jedi i dont trust the implementation of overt/covert in space and wont do it till i am done with my template. as a jedi i cant ride around in a multi ship other than the yacht because of poor implementation of death on those ships.
so this leaves me out of attaining master since i liekly cant control and dont trust their code when i land.

- People could get multiplayer ships and fly them from one side of Kessel to another encouraging players acting as pirate groups to come after them.
- Smugglers pretending to smuggle spice against imperials trying to interdict them.
- Rebels trading with pirate groups in deep space - could be doublecrossed.

This would be awesome. If they can make PvP involve a bit more skill by making fights last more than 5 seconds, then this type of sector would be a playground.
