I noticed the same thing - the only real difference isless armor with slightly higher reactor drains on most of the old lower level interfaces. Maybe these old ones are worth a little something?

Yup. Low mass/speed L1 DIs are sort of a bonus we early JTL adoptors get. Kind of makes up for having to buy 2 Oppressor chassis...

I know Droid Interfaces are not that exiting, but this one seems odd:
Level 5 Ship Equipment
RE Level is 1
Speed is 15.1 (very fast, equal to a Level 9 crafted.)
Mass 482 (Amazing, about 10% of a Level 9 crafted.)
So what is the story with this DI? Is this common?

Yeah i got about 20 of those left, they are great for single player ships with little mass.

I woundn't say its pre-nerf. Infact i just picked up last night.A level 7 one that is 15.1 speed and 500mass. Now that is getting reversed too. If they were pre-nerfed, some how i picked one up in the random drops of the duty mission i took.

It is pre-nerf, lvl 1 droids used to have stats of a lvl 9 and vica versa.

no they are Pre-nerf looted DI's. I picked up quite a few before the change and my best is a level 1 RE level 1 DI that after the RE hit a speed of 13.9. But I have about 10 of them in the 14.1-15.0 range. I have seen some of the equip level 5 RE level 1 DI's but they are not as good as these.

some are still dropping w/those 'very fast' stats.
however,im still sitting on a huge cache of prenerfs
