Wasn't Thrawn from the Emporer's retreat also part of EU?Although as I recall he was an Admiral or a Grand Admiral or something to that effect...

Thrawn was Grand Admiral. Hes mentioned in the dark forces books and the x-wing series.


Cool thing about Thrawn was that he was a non-human.
