Oh well, I know it will be balanced eventually but it seemed pretty obvious to begin with.
I am an Imp pilot and I had no trouble at all outfitting my TIE/In and my Interceptor, just cause you can't balance equipment doesn't make the ships broken.
As for privateer, admittedly they have a couple of legitimate complaints, the bugged pirate trap and the lack of a master ship, but they have advantages too.
For example - Their tier one ship is a rather nice fighter, better loadout options than the imp TIE and more nimble than the rebel Y-wing
Each pilot tree is different, each have advantages, each have disadvantages... You learn to play in with the hand you are dealt, or switch to a different tree, they shouldn't all be identical, thats not fun.

Yeah... like I said, the mass upgrade helped us A LOT.
However, that doesn't change the fact that we don't have a SP master ship, a 2P ship and many pilot skills that don't work.
From what I understand the B-Wing isn't much different. 1P Master ships are strike platforms, not dogfighters - and with the masses your fighters provide already, you HAVE this *now*. If you got one that was ANY better than ours it would create a sh*tstorm of unimaginable proportions.
Also, 2P ship turrets don't have lead indicators - unless your gunner is damn near telepathic it's useless against ships like the A-Wing.
