Its called....sit FAT rear end at computer for 6 hours a day cause you have NOTHING else to do and push the fire button on your joystick until your finger falls off.

Or you could just fly around in space with no brain cells whatso...ever...thinking of nothing except for the thrill of BEING THERE FIRST....and shoot every single ship you find.

YOU WIN.

1. If you're suggesting Im fat, you're wrong

2.Well, this Is a grinding sort of game, isnt it?

Only if you make it that way. I admit, I whipped out master pilot as quick as I could, but only for the sake of my guild, so I could help them on their missions.

Other than that, I've been playing for a year now, and still have so much left to do. I've been rp'ing it, not grinding.

No No im not suggesting that your fat....its just a suggestive sort of example.

As for grinding, yes it is. All these types of games are...EQ, EQ2, AO, COH, WOW, FFXI and many others. You name it, its got some grinding in it. You cant escape it. I have played alot of MMORPG's and ive seen the so called "Power gamers" all do the same thing in a matter of weeks.

They find the most quickest way to achieve the "highest" level, master the "best" skills and collect the "most loot" and then......bored.....EQ was full of 70th gazzilion level paladins and super mages bored to death......why?.....they gained all the experience but TOTALLY SKIPPED THE GAME. Just like in most MMORPG's people stop playing the game for the game. They want to be the 'best" or the "greatest" or get some illusional "end-game" something or another. Then alot of people have some form of ADD...you couldnt get their mind to focus on something longer then 10 minutes.

Of course some have more time then i do to sit at their computers and play all day. My wife/job wont let me. My friends and i (6 us play from the same area) have been grinding out our little skills/doing missions when we can/and generally enjoying each others company when we can get together online since the game started. We have not mastered more then 3 professions and are no where near finishing ALL the missions or exploring EVERYTHING.

Yeah, I helped a friend go up the SS line. In terms of "ease," the Imperial squadrons are ranked as thus, easiest to hardest:

1. Imperial Inquisition
2. Black Epsilon
3. Storm Squadron

Also, a friend of mine is now grinding the Rebel Aces. He's done all six others, Imperial and Corsec/RSF/Smuggler's. Thankfully I was able to help him on a lot of the most difficult Corsec and RSF missions.

Because you don't like being one-starred, I just had to... you know... one-star ya.

I'm kinda hoping for a one-star myself, so I can be #1. Haha.

I have been taking my time going up in tiers (3433) as of about a week ago, solo. Now I'm stuck on a rebel mission where I have to fight off 10 or 12 (too busy to count how many for sure) fast tier 4 black sun vessels in my X-Wing all by myself. I have gotten to the point where I can just get past the first part (engage the enemy for 5 minutesuntil the imagenary mining vessels escape). The 2nd part is twice as hard as the first part...Mainly becauseI have most of the baddies from the first part, taking shots at me, while I have to 'take the fight to the black sun'. I always manage to hyper out, just before they can get a critical blow on my ship that would destroy it.

So, if you really want to challenge yourself, try soloing those tier 4 missions while you are around 4333 or 3433. Lol.
