You're actually comparing your job with a game played for recreation? .......

Yes. I've had plenty of fun jobs. Best one was a bartender in a topless bar I still wouldn't have gone to work without a paycheck. It not unreasonable for people to expect compensation for something they do, especially in a game they're paying a monthly fee for.

Or you can be an Imperial Colonel and ACTUALLY plan raids to Deep Space, lead a squadron there and be sure to make the mistake of trusting a privateer pilot that just might let word of your raid "leak" to the rebs and make a player event out of it.

i'm a privateer!

Dude.... /shakeshead... a game is not a means of income to support whatever lifestyle you live. It is not required in order to pay bills, a job is. It is not required in order to put food on your table, a job is. It is not required in order to pay for any recreational habits that you have including games, a job is. You see where I am going with this? Comparing a paycheck for whatever job you work at to a game you choose to pay is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. You take the cake, bub. You really do. People don't play the game for rewards, they play it for fun. If you are one of the small minority who only play it for rewards then no wonder you complain as opposed to having fun.

I thank you for the compliment, you seem to be a fine young fellow, and no doubt a Rebel. Do you really believe a Ace Colonel with the Emperor's Imperial Inquistionwould CARE about the miserable lives of those are so weak? Deep Space awaits them...

I found the same problem in my server, Kauri. Everytime I was in Deep Space,I typed /who, and only one match returned, myself. And Iusually go there around 11pm PST.

BTW, you can actually live off playing MMO games, if you have the time and you're good. I've read an article published in Computer Games magazine some time ago, and it was called Play to Pay, andtalked aboutpeople who selltheir in-game credits or even items to brokersfor real money. And those brokers are actually companies making lots of money trading game items and credits.
