Heres a tip..go to where the new players are..Teach them how to shot..by taking them after tier 1's move on up..to higher tiers. I do this,and this gets them into Space faster,and before they really get a tast of ground combat..Most new players don't like space..cause of there first ship isnt that good,and they get shot down fast.


and you'll find out,after U take some of these new players up...They will always want to fly with you,cause they get more xp in your ship,then theres..and if u just let them have the loot,and credits that are looted,they can make some money.. I give all the loot and stuff to them..thats lvl 8 and under to sell or what ever they like to do with it... and it will be nice of you tohelp them with their Tier missions..


I've taken two new players out to Kessel..So,theres only three of us..running my Nova.They stay in guns,I pilot..and run droid commands"this took some getting used to" But this can be done.....


just like to say..I've been a Master pilot only a week now..So,this has to be easy for a Vet ACE to do

I died once there,first time out..not have Pob parts..Now i do,and with droid commands..and teaching them how to track there targets..We do fine


But i do wish there was a way to fly solo and fight..sometimes I enjoy going to space solo..blowing things up..and doing this on nova"instead of xwing or something" would be cool.


I'm for a command to aim turret guns forward and it gives pilot control over them.

well my ARC-170 needs a crew, and even if i mange to find 2 gunners they cant hit anything yet alone blow up a ship


with out any gunners it has 1 forward fireing gun, 1 gun for a tier 4 ship is abit underpowerd....


gunner droids is an exelent idea, even if ur limmited to 1 and even if they are terrable shots

I think it'd be better if weapon were grouped into.. well.. groups, and then one Ops chair, or Combat Station, controlled one group of weapons, rather like Worf's position in Star Trek. And rather than it being twitch-based, the Tactical officer chooses targets, and uses commands like "Fire Faster" or "Overcharge" or something, so that the capacitor is drained faster, but the weapons do more damage. Have the weapons more accurate and more powerful the better the tactical officer, so that Master Ship Commander can hit just about anything, whilst novices without any box in "Tactical" couldn't hit a bantha with a droid arm.


Or, make it so that turrets used in this way are less accurate than individually-manned turrets, but still useful.


It might not make soloing possible, but it would certainly releive the pressure on small guilds and groups.
