Thread: JTL Wishlist

2) Do something to prevent Deep Space griefing.
So far as I know, the only way to enter deep space most of the time currently is to pay a noob to hyper in first and take the spacebombs so you can pop in behind behind them and not get killed before you load in. If you're lucky. -You must have really bad luck. I've only been load ganked once in the entire time i've been playing JTL. And i've been playing it since 2 weeks after it was released. It sucks it if happens, but it doesn't happen that often to be of a big concern.
3) Fix PVP damage!
I don't PVP in space because 3 hit kills are stupid. On the ground, you're damage is modified way down in pvp so the fight lasts long enough for some strategy to come into play. In space, whoever's had the most coffee wins. Why should it take 10 times more hits to kill a PVE ship than player ship? -Do we really need to get into this debate again? This has been proven over and over and over and back again that a damage reduction will make this game worse for pvp. Dont' believe me then go do some research on the JTL and Pilot boards about PvP damage. You'll have more reading then you'll know what to do with. Oh, should I say learn to fly? PvP is designed to be fast and furious in space. And maybe you should wait until WO3 gets fixed before crying for a damage reduction.
4) Let us see what droid commands are doing.
Right now all you can see change is the capacitor when you overcharge it. How bout letting me see how much power engine overload 4 actually consumes so I know how much energy I need to run it, instead of just guessing. Or how much damage my guns do when I overcharge them. Etc. Take the guess work out of loading ships. -There are threads showing what each droid command does. If you can do math you can figure it out.
also PoB ships turrets should have longer range, faster blaster shots and better aiming.. or something to help them stay on target while the pilot is flying
GBKiller wrote:*Make space bigger, lots bigger. 10k x 15k x 20k is too small. Try 100k x 100k x 100k and take out some of the heavy bump and textures that create lag. lightning, effects, ISD lag monster etc.. Flying into walls all the time is lame.
Whilst making space larger isn't necessarily required, getting rid of the lag effects would be really helpful.
Just looking at the nebula in dathomir space halves my fps. Why is there lightning in space? And more importantly, who made the decision to add tons of these lag inducing effects in Kashyyyk space?
Whilst the eye-candy factor of nebula and lightning can be quite cool to look at once in a while, I'd love to be able to turn them off to increase performance.
- A PYR subcomponent for crafted engines.
- Cantinas in the planetary docking stations.
- ISD 100 bolt lag.
- NPCs attacking the ISD ==> lag.
- Damage mitigation for larger ships attacking PvE cap ships or better Mark 4 and 5 shields.
- More mass on the ARC 170 + weapon convergence.
- Quit placing newbie missions 15K out from the station. With noob engines, the commute takes longer than the fighting.
Why not hurry up with those stat buffs you promised us at fanfest for the pre-ROTW ships. How long couold it possibly take to tweak a few PYR accelleration values?
Han: "No time to discuss this with the committee."

1 out of 10,000 parts? Have you ever actually flown?!?!?
That would take about 3 years of gameplay!
Ok, i concede the escape pod stuff was more or less irrellevent and some of my post will certainly never occur nor is meant to be taken too seriously but there's a serious "cobweb" atmosphere as a previous poster alluded to in this game and another 29.95 expansion pack ain't gonna fix it!
Peace out!Couerl, Lowca
I can pull in over 1000 parts per night if I turn off the part of my brain that'd want to kill myself afterward. I end up keeping about...3-4 of that number.
Around 500 is a good average number for me.

Heh.. nothing was promised.. and it should be the ROTW ships that are de-buffed.. not hte original ships.
All I'm looking for in JTL is some sort of Planet Killer Missile.
1 Shot, 1 Kill. Anything. Anytime.
Make it about 100k Mass and only able to be carried by Ace level ships.
Then I can loot wh0re propa-style!
or...
Maybe some kind of rocket blossom, like that thing on the Last Starfighter..... ( Really dating myself here )
Then I can sit in one place and fire a bajillion missiles in all directions.
This would also help the phat lewts come in.
