Been a Gravis Gamepad Pro user for years, would never go with anything else. I did own a Sidewinder once tho and hated it.

I had an X-45 for a year and more I think...cant remember when I got it. I was very happy with it, especially since it take some force to move it, and isnt easy to move, and give more accurate turns, etc, but it wouldnt be a smart choice for JTL due to the fact that the keyboard will probably be used a lot more than people think...

I am happy with my decision of using a Saitek EVO, as it is light, smaller, fits good on my desk, and it fully moveable.

I've got a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. It's got a little throddle thingy on it, so I'll probobly just use that... but I've also got an Act Labs Racing Pedals from when I use to play NASCAR Racing 2003 Season... I was thinking I could get REALLY nerdy and somehow hook that up to a throddle/breaking system... and if my ship requires manual shifting, I've got an Act-Labs 4/5/6 Speed shifter and a clutch pedal attachment just sitting here waiting to get used again...

Cougar? Are you serious? Thrustmaster makes the most overprices biggest POS sticks ever. The servos wear out super quick and you have to run the equipment through a friggin buggy program to configure it. I've owned two f-22 sticks from thrustmaster and both broke within 6 months of buying them without heavy use. One problem was bad servos causing the stick to "twitch" all over the place and the 2nd was a broken chip so I couldn't even calibrate the joystick. I read the review and I'd say dont pay attention to it. The guy reviewed the stick after 24 hours, every stick will work perfectly in that time frame. If you haven't already please do not waste your money on that bs. get CH or Saitek avoid trustmaster.

Coming from a long line of flight sims. I can say Ive used most.
Wore or 2 CH Products stick.
I tried FF and couldnt stand it.
My last stick was a X45. We wont need all its features. Dang good set up.
I like to change sticks ever 2 years. So My X45 is out the door.
In all my years of flying, Id never heard anything bad about Thurstmaster stuff until today. About 70% of my flight buds use them still.
The upper end sticks work and last for years.
I just bought on E-Bay a Afterburner II. At half price, If I dont like it, Ill wait for the X-52!

I'm planning on picking up the Saitek X52, lots of useless buttons, and better than that a useless digital clock, and flashy lights! Doesn't come out til October though

Me as well. It just looks like a flight controller used in SW ships.

Well, i've had the cougar since the day it's come out. The only problem i've ever had with it was when one of the pots (potentiometers, not servos) started acting up. Simple solution was, open up the stick, remove the offending pot, blow all the crap out of it, put it back in, and put it all back together. That was 4 months ago and it' been fine ever since. I use it almost every day while playing a little Falcon 4. It's too bad that you've had bad luck with thrustmaster products in the past. I've been using them for years with no problems.
Maybe take a look at the Pots on your F22 and clean them out...could be as simple as that.
