Send in a bomberstrike, they do quite a bit of damage to the turrets. While they're fighting, take the vette from underneath, and nail the turrets that can cover the bottom. The top is more defended...6 turrets, I believe, have a view from there. As long as you've got the bottom clear, it's all you need. Hit the shield gens from either side, staying slightly under the vette, then go fo the engine. Once the engine is popped, get back FAST, and keep your distance until the gunboats pass by (no, so much as firing a single shot at the gunboats is not necessary). Once that's done, it's reactor and bridge, nice and simple. One of my squadmates soloed hers. It can be done, and if you take this approach, it's not difficult at all. If you're there and happen to see a corvette, don't be scared to try it alone :-).

That's all well and good, if youwould happen to beimperial. Since the original poster said he/she was looking for the imperial corvette, this won't work at all. If you decide to solo the Star Ravager, you not only have to contend with the guns on the Corvette, but two imperial gunboats (which are twice as dangerous as the rebel ones, more or less) and a huge escort containing TIE-aggressors and asorted other high-tier TIEs.

While it's still possible to solo the Star Ravager, it's not as simple as the bomberstrike approach. More like "suicide approach". Best way to solo the Star Ravager seems to be to make missile attack runs, pray that they won't hit you, and a swift use of iffscramble after each missile hits. This is a very slow way of doing it though, since the reuse time on iffscramble is massive.I highly recommend getting a group for it. It's easier and actually much more fun.
