This would be a great addition to guilds who are actively at war with each other. Make it a faction perk that either faction could buy at high cost to have the oppossing city bombarded from space. Now only would this look really really cool, but It'd feel more like war, casualties in the city, maybe structure damage of some sort, beautifcation's destroyed. Not my idea so I dont have any real worked out details too it but deffiently something that can be toyed with, I hope the Dev's consider it
