Actually if your going down those lines the firesprey is a unique ship according the bounty hunter game as jango stole the prototype and blew up the 5 others and the lab that they were built in.. but then you read else where its a common patrol craft.. so technically the make up what the want.. continuity went out of the window donkey ago.I agreeI wouldn't mind a yt 2400 myself.. butI think the post was to formsome other ideas not just a yt post.. but in theory would be nice to have the devs do everyytbetween 1300- 2400 sthey can do the hole yt series.. talk about choice.. lol

Timeline? Continuity? LMAO! Please! They're bringing in the Jedi Starfighter... so Timeline is right out the window.
Anyways, it would never happen but the "Lucky Despot" (currently smashed into the ground in Mos Eisley) would be one heck of a guild ship.
YT series, pretty much any of those would be cool.
dude, the jedi starfighter isonly about 20 years old at this time (its acutally much newer than the YT-1300 is) and these versions could just be copies of the original (like the Firesrpay). come on, in RL, people make copies of just about every famous car, motorcycle, and air plane that has ever been built, why wouldn't people make copies of cool ships in the star wars universe?

It's more unfeasible that every single ARC170 and Actis were destroyed during the period between the end of the Clone Wars and post ANH. Although its possible, many could've, and would've ended up in the hands or private civillians and freelancers, and the original design would still be around, even if a mass purge of these ships occured. The Victory Class Star Destroyer lasted from the Clone Wars, after all.

Continuity? PLEASE, NO ONE pays any attention to continuity. As for my choice, the Ebon Hawk is the pick for a small multiplayer ship. It would be easy to get the rights, the design is already set in stone, almost everyone knows it, knows what it looks like, and likes it. It is really a smaller version of the YT-1300. Minor cargo areas, but it gets more than one or two people where they want to go, and it has limited defence ability. It's the perfect ship for the game, and it could be available to everyone.

You could have the yt1300 be all factions and available at tier 3. The 2000 would be tier 4 and the 2400 would be master pilot.
As for the imperials, what about that large troop transport shuttle i kept seeing in the original rogue squadron game (its bigger than the lambda). That would be a nice POB ship. Actually, why make the shuttles just imperial? In rogue squadron (which takes place at about the same time as galaxies except for the last mission) I've seen the rebels use both imperial shuttles:
In the search for the Nonah, the rebels evacuate the crew of a freighter using a lambda.
In Prisons of kessel, Crix Madine commands the ground operations from a larger shuttle
In Blockade on Chandrilla, the civillians are evacuated from the city in three lambda shuttles, which are being attacks by at-sts.

Correction: YOU don't pay attention to continuity, many other people do. It's that attitude that is why the game is so far from what we see in the movies and established EU in the first place.
As for the Ebon Hawk, we are talking 4000 years... we've got people complaining about the 20 year old Episode 3 fighters already. I like the Ebon Hawk, but I don't want to see it in this game any more than I want Darth Revan.

Claiming that "No One" pays attention to continuity is the stupidest statement I've seen on these boards. Period.

Please allow me to clarify:
Yes, it is true that may players and fans care a great deal about continuity. I for one . You (obviously) for another. But lets look at the authors. Other than the original writer (Lucas), not may do. As for the 4000 year gap between the Ebob Hawk and the present age we play in, there are other things that still are around. Not that this is an valid argument for the Ebon Hawk, far from it. But the time line always gets slurred. The ship Ebon Hawk could no more be a player ship that the Millenium Falcon. It was a specific ship for a specific time and a specific character. The design ( or simular) could be reasonable integrated. Seeing that it is smaller that the YT-1300, lighter on both payload and armament, as well as arms, not that big a deal. I understand the pbjections, and I in a limited way can simpathize with them. But what I wrote was my opinion, like everyone else that responded to the post. I, on the otherhand, will never refer to any opinion as stupid.

The way I see it, they might as well create ships that are completely new. Sure they can use variations of existing ships, but since the galaxy is so big and the ship companies many, you can expect that there would be many models not featured in any movie or book. That also means that there is less of a continuity issue since ships that shouldn't be around, won't be.

On the Jedi starfighter. It is not knows, how you get the ship in ROTW. I gues its some kind of quest reward, and not something built by crafters. In that case, i guess its some kind of story, that the ship was parked in a cave or so, for a few decades.
