Did you read MY post. You can grind out the 7.5 mil xp without ever having to go to Kessel. Get the xp and you get master, no need to do the missions.
This is NOT correct. You MUST complete the mission to gain the box, gaining the xp will result in a trainer telling you that you must complete the mission.
You DO NOT have to complete the 7.5 mil XP to become a master.

Hes just another one minded person. One of many on these forums. He thinks that what hes convinced himself to belive about grinding xp to get master box, is the ONLY way, even when hes just been proven wrong.

OMG!!! There are two of us TELLING you that you HAVE to do the mission, who have played in beta! NO YOU DO NOT GET THE MASTER BOX FROM XP ALONE! YOU HAVE TO FINISH THE MISSION!

No, but judging from the several DEV THREADS that were written in the beta boards...
Bah, nevermind - i dont feel like arguing with you... why dont you just try grinding out 7.5mil xp at 3000 xp per kill (and these are NOT easy kills) and then let me know how it turns out after you've killed about 4000 ships over 3 months.
Just get yourself geared up to do the damn mission, and stop posting your "i heard this, i heard that" - I didn't hear anything from anyone, i saw it with my own eyes... i think that gives me credibility that you dont have.

As to this one point however, I think the location of the tier 3 trainer depends on the path you took. Certainly, my tier 3 rebel trainer was on Yavin 4 at the Labor Outpost.

How are we arguing? I'm just asking a question. I don't know if I'm right, and I don't know if your right. Personally I don't really care because theres no way in hell I'm grinding 7.5 mil xp.

My how Jesuitical. Trust me, the difference won't be noticeable. Kessel is going to be ganker heaven.

After a few hundred people have been repeatedly ganked loading into the zone, the firestorm will start on the boards and the devs will move the mission. You know it, I know it and its been pointed out on the beta boards that they should just save themselves the trouble and move the mission now.
No joy so far however.

Then you will know that you cannot get trained by the pilot trainer, unless you have completed all his missions! Even then, its only for one tier of the skill boxes!
