And add a capacitor per weapon, just one makes no sense.

Perhaps instead of a second slot for another shield generator they could come up with another component, perhaps call it a "Shield ParameterMultipler" or "Shield Intesificatoin Unit". Only large Multiplayer ships could equip it, it would cause a sizeable drain on the reactor and it would increase the maximum value and/or recharge rate of the installed shield.(ex.Incom ADV Shield Intensification Unit MK1 hasability to increase the max shield strengths by 10% and the recharge rates by 15%)... just a thought...

They should create some special multi-person only ship parts. These ships have 5 million mass, and most people I know are only use about 400k of that. On Chilastra atleast, all the ship parts seem fine for use on a MP ship, except for shields and armor. These two, that I've found so far dont seem to provide as much protection as is found on the NPC versions of our MP ships. The addition of some high protection shields and armor with extremely high mass to prevent thier use on fighters would certainly help make MP ships more useful and fun.

Although its strong enough to last 5 more secondsthan any other ship in DS, a second shield would be nice : ).
