It just sits there, invincible in my inventory laughing at me.
It's invulnerable to damage. I've used it to pick up guildmates who got their rides blown up reaching Kashyyk and have no way home.

--I wish though that you could upgrade it to a mining ship...and have certain sections of the ship block to make it fair if you have equipment on board. Like the top level because of the turret and the front two rooms because of storage...this would limit the ship...so that it would not become the ultimate vessel in space.
--Maybe it should instead be a veteran quest that is given not the ship and starting at say teir III you can fly it. That would make it a little bit funner and seeing many would not mind because 6-months also get more rewards along with the yacht.
--Maybe you have to help Lando do some asteriod mining or fight off shipping lanes into his smuggling operations and he give you a old ship he found(the yacht). This would then make it more fair to upgrade. So, maybe two version of the ship can be given one is a party ship...and one is a ship given to a 6-month veteran as part of a quest. Take out the bar on that quest ship though.

OhBuggah: Its a 180 day veteran reward, so as long as you have JtL (or RotW) then once you've been playing for 6 months you'll get the veteran rewards box pop up on screen and offer it to you.
coldreboot: You can mod it inside and out! Find your local shipwright and buy some texture kits and colour kits, and you can get the outside looking pretty damn good. As for the inside, its just as customizable as a house and some people have come up with some pretty innovative designs (I have a swimming pool on the top deck of my Yacht!)

Anyone that got any nice pictures of their yacht? Im thinking of decorating it but having trouble deciding how to do it, would be nice with some inspiration.

Yeah. Suck tho that I had to give mine up so I could get a Y-8.
You guys increases the number of ships we can own to 6 but then turned right around and limited the number that could have interiors to two.
hope you didn't destroy the deed. it is reuseable. you find yourself at the wrong starport ....just generate you a new ship. no limit. destroy the old ship (from your data pad). You can put the deed in your bank vault if you don't want to carry it.

They're great for social events. I've run several of them on the yacht. The Yt-1300, VT-49 Decimator and the Nova can only have 8 people on board at once ... the yacht can supposedly have 20-30 people at once.

Lando has an exact same ship (The lady luck) So how would he find another one and why if he already has one.
