So why is this illogical? These ships IMHO should have zero limit on mass (5M seems like a good number) but in turn not be that maneuverable.

Just made a Decimator and it had 5 million too.

I'm sorry for thinking everyone hijacked this post. I haven't made any new chassis since the change.What is the new range on component masses? This whole ordeal with the chassis businessis hysterical in retrospect.

when did this happen, last i checked they had 500k. If this isn't a bug, i wonder why the devs raised the cap so frickin' high.


[EDIT] I guess now i'm gonna have to check this myself, since i wont be needing to build anymore ships, I'll craft all 3 when i get back on in about 2hours.

Check the post by Red-Dwarf in the Shipwright Guide in the Shipwright forum. That has lists of the component and ship mass limits (or as near as the limit)
