It's a wonderful mission and a great attempt on the DEVs part to force players to play together and develop a stronger sense of community in them game. I'm personally sick of MMORPGs becoming games were the only contact a player has with another player is when he/she needs supplies. It is absurd for a single person to be able to run around killing everything in his/her path without a little help from someone. Personally I'm happy to see the DEVs take this risk.
If they did it too all the squadrons from all three Imp Neutral and Rebel I might agree with you,
but the fact is they didnt.

I did it with 3 others and we had no problems. Took 45 minutes to do and no one took major damage.
Some missions are not designed to be done solo.
Go to Wal-Mart right now and buy a watch. You obviously don't own one.

The thing that pisses me off with it, I have helped several players now from differnt squadrosn do there tier 3 mission 1 and I have to say these are 10 times easier than the mission for black squadron I do not understand why they made storm squadron so out of balance for the first mission.
Black epsilon tier 3 misisons are jsut too dam hard

With all due respect
Nothing about this mission needs to be fixed or changed, although I agree with the client crashes! Those are a pain, since this mission takes an hour and a half to complete.
Here's some tips I posted.
It's not difficult. I did it with one guildmate and it wasn't impossible.

The Rebel mission at this level takes 3 or 4 Tier Two people to group. It does just what the original poster says.....took me 9 times to complete. The hardest part was having Tier 4 and 5 spawns (not part of the mission at all) pop up on the waypoints..not a good thing at all.
We had the same exact problem on the last step of the 2nd mission as well.
This is frustrating and needless to say the least.
We promise....we'll stay online and play until our fingers bleed. No need to make these missions stupid long or randomly impossible.

Took me a few tries but I managed it myself... I coulda managed it the first time _if_ I'd avoided that static spawn of 4s....
Edit: And no, I'm not the one star bandit.

yep me too.... i solo'd it all the way till i had to deliver the data at the end...... i almost was able to hyperspace to another endor area to get away but the quick tier 4 a4's were too fast and blasted me..... the trick was i only targeted reactor and disabled every enemy.... i didn't blow any of them up..... i found that the waves of ships came slower if i only disabled ships plus you can disable them faster than you can destroy them.... i'm gonna try it again tomorrow solo.... i'm gonna grind some xp to get an interceptor first with 3222....

I did this mission with two other players, one showed up during part 3/5. Let me tell how to do this mission. Just follow this advice:
GET YOUR FRIEND THAT IS A MASTER IN HIS OPPRESSOR WITH BOMBER STRIKE 3.
There you go, all you need is an ACE and youcancomplete the Tier 3 missions easily.
BTW the only hard part of the Storm Squadrons mission is the part 4/5 mission (dock with and repair Imperial Transport) spawns right next to a Tier 4 Pirate Spawn. If that spawn is moved or deleted from the region the mission will be very easy with a group of 3 and challenging solo.
Flame away,

Don't need to buy a watch. That what timestamps in the chat interface are for.
Started at 12:45, finished at 1:32
Don't hate just because you/your team is slow at killing the attack waves.
