This was posted over in the Ranger forum:
After seeing the various posts about rangers over on the Discussion forum. I just wanted to let you know we are here and are listening. I hope to get you the correspondent replies soon--meaning over the next day or so.
I personally don't happen to play a ranger (heck, I haven't gotten to any advanced profession yet--I'm dabbling in all six starting profs) so I'm afraid that I don't have many specifics that I can talk with you about. So all I can do is that that we're here listening.

It's amasing how spoiled those ch's are, their Gurlama gets a toothache and SOE has an entire team of programers on it. So what if your wildly overpowered pet dies? It SHOULD it's too good and it needs to be mortal, if nothing else than for continuity.
Also, I had a probot die today, and when I got back to town and found that it was still on my datapad and that it now had the option to "use a vitality pack" on it. I asked a friend what it ment and she laughed and asked how the guys at SOE even managet to tie their shoes in the morning, then she told me that it's used on pets that got ko's to restore some of their stats. So I got one, used it, and sure enough my probot came back, tho sans 30-40 ham. I thought this was a rare bug or something, but then it happened again when a fambaa decided he didn't like me.
Anyone else getting this at all?
