The life of a Privateer involves a great deal of conflict. Privateers who work for reputable groups might find themselves policing systems and battling pirates. When running missions for the Hutts or the Smuggler's Alliance, a Privateer is likely to run afoul of local authorities or even the Empire.

Got that off the friday feature page and if im understanding this right a nuetral pilot taking the wrong mission can give them a tef to rebel or imperial ships?

If so all i gotta say is sweeeeet.

yep you read it right... and im in the same reponse as you BOOOYAAAHH BAABY! that statment there reminds me of the old flight sim game with the same namew... PRIVATEER

If your saying he is correct and you do get a TEF you are wrong. There is NO TEF what so ever... it probly means some of your missions will involve NPC Tie fighters... seeing as you will be a criminal and all... they will be trying to stop you. But for players and the majority of Imp NPCs... no, no tef.

Technicly it's half-right. It'll be more like how meatlumps and other thugs see you. You take enough missions and get enough negative faction and NPC imp or rebel ships will agro you whenever you pass them. But as for getting a TEF so you can attack or be attacked by players, that won't happen.

Since space is a big space, they could just as easily make it a temporary thing, once you start shooting imperials, all the imperial NPC's will target you until you dock.

So, reading through the publish notes. Came upon the part about vehicle repair kits. Am I correct in thinking that ALL vehicles are now repairable, not just the AV-21, Jetpack, and BARC? Or did I misread it?

think you miss read cause its basicaly to stop us just taking them to a garage and calling them to have them repaired. they find it more fun making us look for the items on vendors.

No. It's to stop you from taking your DISABLED vehicle to a garage and having it repaired. It also now allows av-21 and jetpacks to get fixed rather than becoming a display in your data pad. This is a good thing.

So either be more careful with your toys or pay to have them fixed.
