The remedy worked for me!

Use the 'My Account" button to register your expansion in the launchpad... not the 'register expansion' button.

Worked like a charm!

I dont have to install from the CD right? I just entered the key and it downloaded a 25 minute patch and seems to be all set! So I am good to go right?

I'm still receiving "Sorry - The consumption of this account key requires features which your subscription already has."


It worked on my other accounts, but one still gets that error.


New Info: It just worked. I did it through the My Account button like someone here mentioned. It worked that time. Thanks!

I was having serious problems with registering until I found a workaround. Click the Register button, the window doesn't load up. Close the window (not the whole launchpad). hit it again, and again until something pops up. fill out the nfo and click the next button. nothing pops up, close the window and keep doing it again and again till you're in. Hope this helps...

Tried the full scan. Tried the fix mentioned by TSR Chad in another thread, which said to clear out the temp Internet files, and cookies in IE. Nothing works.

What happens is I sign in and do the station account login either through 'register expansion' OR 'my account' the fields get wiped when I hit submit and nothing happens.

No beta, no pre-order just can't play JTL.

My browser is Firefox from Mozilla.

If there is a way to register this game through the website, where I can access my station account, please tell me how, but I don't see how.

Either way, please help.

ok, I'm getting something along the lines of what's discussed here and you guys seem to know what you're talking about so here goes.

I bought JTL, no pre-order, no betta, I just want to play the game. I instaled JTL, that went smoothly. I tryed to register it from the lanchpad by clicking 'register expansion' it took me to a log in page, I loged in again, that took me to a page where it desplayed my account info, and at the bottom was a button saying 'register expansion'. When I clicked that nothing happens. I tryed loading the lanchpad, clicking full-scan, then clicking register expansion, and the same thing happens. When I click on 'my account' I get a screen with my account info, but 'register expansion' isn't an option. 'edit account' is, but in there there isn't an option to register. If there was a way to register through the web page that wound save so much heartach. And if there isn't, is there at least some other work around?
you'd think with this being what the devs have been focusing on they would at least make it so you could play it after you bought it.
