I'd add just a portion of the Y-8 for comparison. Perhaps a view from the top down, or a view of the cockpit from the side, or something. It would be useful and amusing.

(just for reference, the top of the ship is similar in size to the yacht, as far as I can tell)

There may be a problem with the method you used to keep the images the same scale.

In the ground game, distance to models is not measured from the center of the model, but from the nearest polygon. If this is the same for space (I haven't tested it, but there's a good chance if the devs are lazy programmers like me), the bigger POVs would seem smaller in your image than they actually are.

Furthermore, the visible silhouette of a ship appears to have little to do with its hit boxes. Like I found it amazingly hard to hit a Y-Wing in PvP while X-Wings are usually destroyed with the first burst. Generally, I agree tho; the smaller the graphics, the harder to hit.

nice picture work. I think this definately needs to be stickied or added to the pilot faq
