Now that's i've gotten over this vet reward thing i'ld like to say this, i feel that your need to try an bribe people to buy JtL insulting and i only speak for myself i would have gladly brought it anyway but to try and make people buy JtL to get vet rewards is an insult.
I have played this game since beta 3 which because i'm in australia cost me $125 which i gladly payed so i could get a look at SWG, and which i had to wait a few weeks to get the game since it was only sold to the US only but i ended up getting a copy a few weeks after release which if you asked most people in beta wasn't rdy for release.
Since i've been playing since that time i've mastered a number of profession one of which was DE which i was in beta and i like many others had high hopes which took ages before it was even an ok profession but before it was an ok profession i quit because i'ld had enough of the bugs which have been here since beta 3 and the broken professions namely DE anyway when i had heard they were going to fix i thought to myself i'ld come back and i really enjoyed playing for awhile after that still alot of bugs and broken professions but i could see thing were getting alot better.
Anyway during this time you sent out keys to people who quit to try and bring them back and you also worked hard to make the jedi system something fun which would bring alot of people back into the game.
So my question is this if you want people to come back why would you throw it in there faces and insult them with the way your vet rewards work?
I mean in UO and i know this is a different game but hey if they can do it why can't you, and that is vet rewards are worked out on time played so if you played for 3 months and then quit for a month or 2 then came back for another 9 months you still got your vet rewards after the end of that 9 months because it added up to 12 months.
UO also had a choice of a few vet rewards like they had up to 6 or 7 rewards of which you could only pick 1 which seems alot better idea in stead of hundreds of people running around with the same reward.
The big kicker is that no matter how long you have played unless you get JtL you get no vet reward and they only thing i can put it down to is that your trying to bribe people into buying JtL which brings me to another question which is won't JtL stand up as a great addon to the game which everyone will want to buy or is it yet another bug fest which will only cause people to be griefed by bugs and power gamers?

So this is a Vet Reard for playing 6 months that we'll be able to get in another 4 or 5 months? What I joke!
Everyone will have one by then.
You want to reward vets? The people that have stuck it out non-stop since Beta are the vets. You need to talk to your ex-UO folks to get an idea how to do vet rewards. They should be useful, distinctive, unusable by non-vets and actually reward dedication.

Yay!
1) 2 questions - this will be a neutral ship, right?
2) and will this be a one-person ship? or Multiperson like YT1300? If it's a single, can the interiorstill be decorated?

By the by, folks:
"This starship model has been popularized in Star Wars fiction by Lando Calrissian's personal vessel, the Lady Luck. Non-veteran players will receive the reward once they become veteran players. Similar to the Special Edition goggles, this item will not be tradable."
Everyone gets this. No matter what. This is awesome, and yet at the same time moderately uncool, because it turns out not to be a reward but instead a freebie, so to speak.

Q-
If you have not cancelled subscription, but have had it cancelled on you - I.E. you pay with a debit card and forgot to put the money in - does that count against veteran status?

Consecutive means that if you cancel your subscriptionand come back, you start over again. This is an incentive reward for continuously playing through to Jump to Lightspeed. In this case, "Veteran" means 6 months. If we add additional veteran rewards in the future, they may be shorter or longer in terms of time requirements.
You know Q, that royally sucks. There's a lot of us who for whatever reason just can't always keep the subscription active, but we come back very quickly. For some its game cards, in my case, for example, we sometimes have to put off the subscription while we wait for a paycheck to come in, so I've been down by 2 days here or a week or so there.
Why not just do it by total subscribed months, rather than consecutive, and make it more? If you've been subscribed for a total of 12 months, say, you get a vet reward. That way game card users or people who had to take some time off for school or anything like that get their EARNED veteran reward as well.

You know the more I think about this, the less this seems like a veteran's reward. I'm estimating that by the time JtL comes out (probably 6 months from now), everyone has the possibility to be a 6 month-consecutive-veteran. This seems more like a ploy to get people to subscribe from now until the release of the expansion.
