Hello All!!
I hope someone can help me with this.I finished up a quest in the jedi village to find a computer core replacement. After I did and brought it to the chief engineer it said quest complete and crafting mastery"repair" unlocked. But the last part was to find a gadget specialist.Well , I did but I have no options to do anything with him.He says he is very busy and all I can say is im sorry for bothering you.
If I try to get another quest from anyone else I cannot.
Thanks in advance.

Well I do not know anything about this quest but here is a guide from another thread that has guides to all the village quests:
Step 1: Goto Keren, Coronet, or Mos Entha to speak with a "Gadget Specialist" (You can get wp's to any of these from Alpoka). You must purchase a "Satellite Tracking Device Assembly Kit" for 530 credits.
Step 2: Complete the kit (Requires, Tracking Device Assembly Bracket First, Second and Third Segment; Tracking Device Case First, Second and Third Section). You also need 4 Master Artisan crafted items.
Step 3: Goto any starport ticket droid and use the "Purchasing Satellite Tracking Data" radial option, this costs 1100 credits, once the droid finds the satellite you retrieve the info with the "Obtain Satellite Data" radial option.
Step 4: Use your tracking device to locate the satellite, retrieve the computer core
Step 5: Use the "Reconfigure Interface" radial option on the computer core. You must get the four indicators to light up. To do this you must connect four wires in the proper order, there are red, yellow and blue wires, and each can be connected to a different power source. You set it up and then test it to see if you're right. For each wire connected to the correct contact one of the indicators will light up, if the right type of wire is used but to the wrong contact the indicator will flicker. Each failed test damages the core and causes the "Circuit Integrity" to drop, which is the % chance the core is still viable. On average a core can survive 6 or 7 attempts before it's fried (unclear right now what happens if you fry the core, do you fail or do you have to retrieve it again).
Step 6: Return the completed configured core back to "Chief Engineer" [Name keeps changing]
Now from what this guide says, it seems to me that if you completed the quest you probably did find the Gadget Specialist you were talking about since that is the first step of the guide. Like I said I don't know this quest so I may be wrong. It may be different now. The reason he won't talk to you again is that you already fnished his quest and you can only attempt 1 quest per phase. This is the same reason you cannot get a quest from anyone else. You have to wait for the phase to change which is about every 3 weeks if i'm not mistaken. hope this helps a little

Ok i have been over and over these boards and the clickies and everything and i still have people telling me no that isn't right its this way or that way.
I have just started a new city on Rori.
I am trying to figure out how the xp is calculated. according to this forum it is 300xp per vote/ citizen. Well a "friend" in game says no it is 100 * votes divided by 2 every three weeks. He says the board is out of date and this is the current xp method. so which is it or what is it?
And the boards say that i must have the votes every three weeks he says no as long as no one runs against me they roll over and people don't need to revote. So which is it?
Please help me out here.
Thanks In Advance

As long as you have registered as a mayoral candidate you get the following:
750xp each week
elections are every 3 weeks & you get 300xp per active vote
votes are not automatically rolled over..your citizens MUST actively vote every 3 weeks in order to get the 300xp
if someone else runs against you, they will get 300xp per vote that they get, but the person listed as mayor will get the 750xp for that period.
hope that helps

I am going to be a BH with TKM definatly. problem is i am ahving trouble which to choose of these two skills, please help.......would i be better off getting invest IV and smuggler 0-0-3-0? or invest III and smuggler 0-0-4-0. my skill template when finished will be BH either 4-0-4-0, TKM, and smuggler 0-0-3-0. or it will be BH 3-0-4-0, TKM, and smuggler 0-0-4-0. what i am asking is, what would be better? the Smuggler skill for pistol? or investigation IV.

You hacve to ask yourself...
do you want to find them faster/easier or do you want to kill them faster/easier?

Really bad timing to ask about Smuggler dabbling...
But to answer your question, Last Ditch is a very powerful pistol shot but it hits random pools, which is really not helpful in your Jedi hunting. Then again, neither is Invest 4 since all you need is 3.
So, go for Last Ditch and kill Jedi with it so yet another of our skills can be nerf'd.

I say go for the smuggler skill. Last Ditch is one of the most powerful attacks in the game, and I think well worth the SPs. Invest 4 on the otherhand is a moderate upgrade over Invest 3...
Just my opinion.
