No its not just you.
Its because of armor, defenses, and level mitigatioins of players are far better than the damage, accuracy, and CL of pets.

Seriously use your alt, its what its there for.
Ya but if they dont bring back decent pearls/crystals we arnt that good and atm normal profs are ore fun. Not asking for nerf just asking to bring the good stuff back.

When they bring back pearls and you surrendered all your Jedi skills, what did you achieve?
Seriously, use your alt - you dont need to start out from scratch, you can share items by dropping items in houses where both are on admin and such.
no it's not just you, i have the same idea and i'm fighting pretty much with that... so when i have a pretty bad day, i just logout.. because if not, i'm sure that iwill do something stupid like... drop jediskills so i can have again some fun = what means new xp grinding (maybe because i really don't have nothing else to do with my jedi - and pvp.. i don't prefere)
and second... characterunlocked... well, it's not my favourite toon as this one... i was with my mine character for more than 2years.. so i feel like he is part of me and ... that's why i don't change it 
well it is pretty sad that after you reach cl80 (jedi/nonjedi) there is nothing valuable to do in game if you don't like pvp at all ;( no interesting loot, no special quest for usefull rewards, highend caves with cool stuffs etc... all fun wha tyou can have (what i see) is just xpgrinding xpgrinding and than you are done

Ya I like my jedi toon a hell of alot more then my alt. I wish it was back in hologrinding days where your alt was your jedi.

Yes, they took out group Viz, but they added Mind, Action, Force costs to everything that after one mob you need to sit for 24 hours to regen a pathetic Force bar. Then we add the factor of a BH attack, where in a BH with Medic skills can outheal, outdamage, outlast ANY JEDI if he has brains, because while his Action/Mind may drop, it recharges far faster then our Force bar.
Then, after getting 5000 Jedi XP for killing a few animals for 96 hours, you lose 250k...
I have since stopped playing because dispite the rantings of others, this game is unbalanced. Its focus is too much on PvP..
They need to INCREASE the DAMAGE of LS accross the board and..
Create a PvE (creature/NPC) modifier to damage.
LOWER FORCE COST or INCREASE FORCE REGEN (I don't care which, but it's a joke how it works now!)
Get rid of "ELITE" Drops of Pearls and Crystals!!!!!! Make these items QUESTREWARDS and makeall crystal types the SAME and have the Jedi expirment with Damage/Speed/SAC..
- All pearls/clear crystals(no more "poor, fair, good, flawless, etc") add x-amount to overall DAMAGE, SPEED, and FC (pearls are better then crystals)
- INCREASE the ELEMENTAL (still a f'king joke!) damage to other crystals!
- QUEST Crystals (available to all) can be "uber" in some way or another.
Get rid of XP loss due to BH death, this is the only game that punishes you for paying.. er.. playing!
You know what? Forget it.. no one cares, and this is why this game sucks now! I'm so fed up with it... Mindless, endless grinding for what? No fun in getting killed and losing everything I've "worked for"... Please... Bah!
