Would you Entertainer types be interested in a Droid that does all 6 effects or do you find yourself only using a few, if so which are they?
Thanks in advance.

On my main I have a couple FX droids. One of them is an all FX droid, but I have found that I use the palyback modules more. That is why I got a new droid with all playback mods (and a storage).
My second FX droid had a single playback so I had to leave something out. I left out either mind bloom or Electric stor...can't remember which but those 2, while being unique are uniquly suited to be lag monsters. I also feel that the others will have more call at parties and weddings.

Personally, I don't like the Dancing Jawas, so if I custom order an entertainer droid, I have it given 10 item storage instead... but I do know that other entertainers do like the Dancing Jawas. I like all 5 of the other effects.

I really like the Foam effect, the Dancing Jawas, and the Mind Bloom.
Musicians really like the Playback Modules (craftable by DE's using a Dual Wave Synthesizer made by Musicians). These are handy to have a droid accompany you while playing a song.
The thing about Playback Modules is - you can only record one song with one instrument for the droid to play with you, per module. As an example:
1) Playback Module - Ceremonial/Mandoviol
2) Playback Module - Ceremonail/Bandfill
3) Playback Module - starwars1/Nalargon
The above modules would let a Musician play starwars1 with the droid "playing" a Nalargon. Then, they could change the song to Ceremonial, and have the droid accompany with Mandoviol. Then, without changing songs, they can switch the droid to a Bandfill to accompany them.
If a Musician wanted their droid to accompany them in Ceremonial and "playing" a Chidinkalu Horn (in other words, a song not yet recorded on the droid), they'd have to stop playing music, stop the droid from playing, equip a Chidinkalu Horn, delete one of the Playback Module tracks, set the droid to record, play for 1 minute for the droid to record the song with Chidinkalu Horn, then equip a Nalargon, then start playing again and start the droid again so it accompanies with a Chidinkalu Horn.
More Playback Modules for a Musician = more convenience mid-performance
No stopping awkwardly, playing an instrument for a minute, stopping, restarting, then having a droid accompany. You just change the track the droid is playing.
So, ifa Musicianwanted an R3 Adv Ent droid, they'd probably like a couple of effects, and then lots of Playback Modules. The effects could be a personal preference to the Musician, but the Playback Modules will always be a good thing.
I personally have an R3 with all playback modules, and another with 5 effects and one playback module.
I'm also a DE (well, was, I need to gain it back on my alt now), so feel free to ask more questions if you like

Also, quick note, just like Entertainers, a droid's Action bar drops gradually as it plays music.
This means that the best HAM you can put in a droid, the better - the longer it can play music without needing to "rest."
I've had R3 Advanced droids last a couple hours on Action, with around 4300 Action. You could also consider offering Droid Repair Kits (to repair damage to the droid) with your Ent droids. It will let Ents replenish the Action of their droid while still using it at a gig.

I don't care for the Dancing Jawas either, but then I rarely use the droid I was given and I've had it since day three oftheir inception. Perhaps if it didn't make that incessent beeping noice . . . . can't we get a mute button for that little guy?!

As a musician I only use a advanced R3 full up on playback modules.
I don't mess with the effects, usually there is a dancer around with one so they can do them if they are needed.

I went for a droid with all six but nearly never use it. Still like having all six in it in case I do want to use it though.

I like having all of them loop, but my favorites are foam, birds, and the electric fog.

My personal droid has 6 playback modules in it, personally as a Musician I liked that better than having any effects modules

One thing that should be noted. Effects droids are only usable by novice dancer or musician and playback droids are only usuable by novice musicians (and up). So a person with only entertainer and none of the elite entertainer professions can't use them. Silly yes but thats how it is today.

You need a droid with a merchant ad barker module installed. And you need Merchant Advertising 4 to be able to use it.
From the FAQ:
Advertising IV: Gives you a 20% discount on the cost of your global advertising. Advertising IV also gives you the ability to operate a Merchant Barker Droid. The barker droid can be purchased from a Droid Engineer and will allow you to put in a message of 128 characters which it will announce every 60 seconds as long as someone is nearby. It will also give people a waypoint that you input if they select him and request it.
