Hey Q-3PO, could you possibly reconsider this 6-month consecutive thing?
I've been playing since launch but back in March I had to "quit" for about a week while I worked some stuff out in RL and I'm sure others have similar experiences.
I think it's kind of awful to be cheated out of this in September because you have to quit for a day before you can get some money to buy the next month.

I agree that the 6th consecutive months is a bad idea. I've played a total of about 10 months, but I've let my subscription run out for things like vacations and class finals. I thought "No sense in paying for the game for a half a month when I won't be able to play it", and now it turns out I'll be penalized for that, ESPECIALLY since I just recently let my account go dead for about a week. So those 7 days I decided not do pay RESET my 6 month counter, so I'll get my ship a few months after JTL launches, but some guy who joined just 6 months before, who hasn't invested even a fraction of the amount of time I've invested, will get his ship?
Base the reward on TOTAL months played, not this "consecutive" garbage.

I'm quoting this because I also feel this is a critical issue, seeing as how my account has technically been "cancelled" for almost 9 months...

LOL, SOE know the very second WoW is released a huge number of players will defect, this is a blatant attempt to stop them (much like JTL is). Won't work, too little too late.

This isnt the Lady Luck stop calling it that. Yes its the same model type if you want a "short name" say PLY3000.
No it is not heavily armed, it has 1 cannon. (Well it should have 1 cannon dont ask me why it has 3 on the picture) It is a PLEASURE YACHT not a combat vessel. It's meant for Luxury, consider it a Large House in space.
This is NOT I repeat NOT a combat vessel. Do NOT think you will be flying this sucker into heavy combat and winning. It is for leisure -- end of story.
P.S. Even if it does have 3 cannons its a POS in combat so

Impressive...
Call it a cheap marketing trick or whatever you will, but it feels nice to get this token of appreciation for staying loyal to the game - something that can bestbe described as a bumpy ride.
On the downside, it means I won't be selling as many YT1300s

wait, 6 consecutive months before JTL comes out, or just played 6 months straight at a time? I have been playing since beta 3, subscribed at live, and played until february, then took a break due to school until may, please tell me those 6 moths from live til feb count, because if not i will be very upset seeing someone who has played half as long as me get this, but i can't...also if you need another idea for a vetran reward, how about giving the people who were subscribed 1 year ago 100 extra skill points? *nudge, nudge. wink, wink* that would really rock. oh and the ship idea is excellent, i can't wait to fly it.
