On my trials i was able to use the saber(pre-cu)..... sounds like a new bug since cu or last patch?

Yes.... sounds like this is the problem.
But they won't fix this in near future. Its not a bug that can't be bypassed - you will be able to use the lightsaber soon.

Yeah pre-cu normal attack didnt use force, just specials. Now they do, so you wont be able to use it until post-trials.

If you want to get it to ignite for a photo opportunity before you finish the trials just equip it and get someone to duel and attack you 
PS With vis-gaining beinga bit of an unknownright now (who knows what they changed/broke!) I'd be grouped with your attacker and somewhere quiet just to be sure

You can equip it and duel a friend.
On your screen you will see the lightsaber. Your friend will see whatever weapon you had, if any, before he/she attacked you. Strange bug, but cool if you just want to see yourslelf with a saber.

I did this for a friend 2nights ago as he was halfway through the trials and I saw his saber (oo er!)
I think you were just experiencing the occasional bug where you don't see someone's correct weapon.. lost count of the times I've asked my IG partner why they were using unarmed at 50m range and was assured they had arifle equipped!

Hi, need a clarification
I'm currently MA, MM, grinding up WS. I'm thinking about taking up smuggler to go with the WS.
If I had my vendor limit say, and vendors nicely dressed etc, what happens when I take the skill boxes down? Do the vendors go pop?

You will lose the bonuses from those boxes. If you have more vendors than you are certified for, or more items for sale than you are allowed, you will not be able to list anything for sale until you are back within your limits.
Any clothing you've placed on your vendors will remain, you just won't be able to change or redress them.

I'm sure it was the bug. Funny thing was my friend said he saw my rifle fireing at him. Who knows. The saber looked cool. heh

Physcology 101: If you can't physicaly win, attempt to mentaly win. However, if you are mentaly inapt, your attack will be weak.
Kids will be kids. Insults are the best they can do. They have no skills to track or fight with. I guess they actually think you will become so angry at being called names you will come back. Then they hope you will be so enraged that you can't think straight and will make noob mistakes and loose the fight. Ya wuss.
