Personally I could care less about slicing excepting if it means we're one publish closer to actual SMUGGLING content.

I had nearly 2 full years of slicing and there isn't anything you could do to slicing that would EVER make me want to slice again.

Most likely...Jedi are going to get a slicing minigame. Theyre going to take the tree out of smuggler completely.

The sad thing is...this wouldnt shock me in the least. Not at this point.

They (Jedi) will be able to fly without jetpacks. It is intended...

Also they will able to move through collidable objects such as trees, walls, etc. They will also be able use the force to create glitterstim spices, and then we will buy it from them as they can not trade glitterstim to any player or sell on a vendor, except a smuggler has to buy it from the Jedi through the trade screen first, then he can sell it to anyone or place on any vendor he pwns- not only do the jedi get (more) love, but we finally get smuggler content.

Just so you guys remember...

One of the people at FanFest reported that the Devs said the Jedi were getting some love with 19.

Even without that, it's more than likely. However, there BETTER be a whole lot of Smuggler love in that publish as well, or I am going to cease my usual push for being level headed and will embark on an all out crusade against everything that team does before Smuggler gets COMPLETELY fixed. I plan on becoming a complete PR nightmare should we get slighted again.

"Jedi claims of being "broken" are like saying "But my TV isn't widescreen! It's broken! My TV can't show high-def pictures in 1080i, it can only do 720i! It's broken!" Meanwhile, crafters are saying "We'd really like to have a TV that's larger than 12" and gets more than 4 channels and doesn't constantly lose vertical control", and entertainers are saying "Can we get some color instead of this B&W piece of junk?" And smugglers? We're listening to radio programs of "The Shadow" and "The Abbot and Costello Comedy Hour" and hearing FDR's Fireside Chats. Im waiting till i know all what they intend to do in publish 19 before i make any judgements because all the details arnt released yet.

Im hoping that we will see slicing revamp in publish 19 and smuggling content in publish 20 because we deserve and have waited a very long time for it and it is an integral part of the game.

I wouldn't count on it. TH said that the Smuggler Revamp would be right after the Jedi revamp.

Since the pasage of time is related to velocity, it is feasible that to TH it sems like the Jedi revamp was yesterday if he moving at .9999999999 light speed orhis apartment is right next to the the event horizon of a black hole.

It hasnt even gone to QA testing yet. What are the chances of it being QA tested AND TC tested within 2 weeks? Slim. And if it is, it will be riddled with bugs and probably wont properly when its launched.

I personaly cannot see it making publish 19.

I was under the impression that it had gone to QA, at least that's who JF was trying to lay the blame on in case of any "hypothetical" delays

Well so far its still possible since they haven't put up any patch notes for publish 19 yet. Atm they're just testing the emperor day quests...without other coding on top of it...a prudent testing tactic imho...since they want that out working without bugs..since it'll only be there for a week or so. But I'd still not jump the gun and say it will be publish 19 since Tiggs said it was a "tentative"possibility that the new slicing stuff will be put in. I'm not sure if it will be in my opinion though...they might have seperate patches for empire day and the new slicing mini game fix because publish 19 will be a rushed publish in a sense. I'd kind of like it on test center soon to test for bugs but I doubt they would have time to fix any bugs we might find in time for the publish 19 deadline they set. But ya never know.
