ok, I'm master bio-engineer, and I like the medic line, and CM has pretty much appealed to me since I've started playing the game, I used a char builder and I'll have 32 points left after hitting novice CM, where would be the most effective setup for those points to get me somewhere? I was thinking maybe 2/0/3/2 but I'm not completely sure how thecm supportworks, does it mean I have to have it to use the meds or just makes them more effective? Thanks in advance

You need the support line to use the meds. It is the range line that makes the meds more effective. It kinda depends on what you want to get out of CM when you want to spend your skill points. If it is to use poidoons/diseases, the B level DoTs are kind of weak. In order to use the C level singl stims, you need all 4 boxes of the support line.

yeah was for the poisons and diseases I want it for, and to heal here and there, I'm not much into combat, I'd be more support for my guild mates when hunting and such, the rest of theme I'd be out getting dna for more creatures (plus it might come in handy on an aggro mutant rancor, or when they start fighting eachother so I can kill a few of them quick enough to get that 900+ OQ meat hehe)

It can help ya, just get some health area poisons stand as far as you can from a group of creatures throw one in there, run, and wait for them to go down to 1 health, and just finish them off

if so please tell me what works with what
secondly, do us fencers get any status/kd attacks other than dizzy and blind?

The only attack that is affected by your weapon is the bleeds (which have been drastically hurt now) and that is just based on how much damage they can do.
We get blind attacks, dizzy attacks, and bleeds from fencer. From brawler we get a posture change, intimidate and warcry.
If you chose to master brawler, you get an enchanced warcry, intimidate and a real KD.

Actually I think any weapon with better close range modifiers is preferable for putting states on your opponent than one whose experimentation and powerups all go into speed and damage. The reason being, the better your chance to hit the faster you will get your states applied.
It would be interesting to get a custom weapon that was designed for speed, low ham cost, and high accuracy for the purpose of adding dizzy, blind, or KD. And then power it up with range mods, speed, and/or HAM cost. You would probably need to start with a newbie weapon. Maybe a dagger.

Now dont everyone laugh at me but I have a noob question. Im fairly new to the game and was wondering on what is the best way to become a jedi? Where can I get theses Holos everyone is talking about. I see people selling them but I dont have that much money. Please realize that I am a noob to this game but I am interested in the Jedi profession(as well as a lot of other people Im guessing). Thanks for your time and please dont laugh at the noob.

The FAQs stickied above give a pretty good outline on the current thoughts on how one becomes a Jedi.
