It's not a safe haven, they don't earn Jedi XP, the BH missions are to slow and discourage progression in the Jedi profession, in space they aren't grinding Jedi XP, so there is no need for the hunt, I can't understand why anyone would not understand this unless they are greedy griefers out to harass others.

Jedi should not be hunted in space, it is not a cheat, exploit or hiding place, this is fact.

3things:

1st: the quote button is left to the smily button

2nd: so the bounty hunters need to wait till the jedi is done with flying

and 3rd: this would encourage jedi's to get high visability and then go out in space (just like they go into their houses)

And if bounty hunters where alowed to hunt jedi in space then jedi would get powers it is as simple as that.

Also it is not like you can stay in space forever you still have to log at a safe place on the ground.

I would like to ask you this:

What is the differance between a jedi getting aload of viz and either logging off to play tie fighter or rome total war or fly in space in jtl?

like what?

Bounty hunter want to slow jedi down right, the only way a jedi can get exp and level ups is on the ground so if jedi is not on the ground but is logged off or playing jtl then the bounty hunter has done his job.

Ahh so now the truth appear, it's not just like they go into their houses. If a Jedi retreats to his house he cannot do anything, anything at all. That is what you want, if they retreat to some place to avoid the BH hunting you want to ensure that the player has absolutly nothing they can do but stay logged in and watch the clock. Do you think that player pays $15 per month to have a Star Wars screen saver.

As it stands visability doesn't even go down in space, so let's say a Jedi gets on the terms, they log in each day and play 10 hours in space for 3 weeks, guess what? They are still on the terms, their visability hasn't dropped so there is no incentive to run up visability and hide in space, but what it does give them is a break from the Jedi grindand something to do other then run the SWG screen saver.

I dont see what the problem is space is clearly not a hiding place, it is a temporary end of hostilities that's it. Just as you the BH force the Jedi into PvP with the term mission, he now has the power to pospone that encounter if he chooses to play JTL, I see no problem with that.

Greedy BHs want it all, you think a few thousand creds spent on a mission gives you the RIGHT to DB that Jedi, you feel the money is in pocket already at the time of downloading the mission. Guess what? it isn't. Downloading and pursuring the target is the investment, the reward is ONLY if you DB that Jedi. Stop thinking you already deserve the reward before you work for it and maybe you'll understand why JTL makes sense as it is now.

Anyway i have no idea what powers they would get, i don't want any player to have any type of power in space. this game is about the gcw not jedi vs bounty hunters.

End of the day if jedi is in space then the bounty hunter has done his job.

Bravo, the trouble is BHs think it is required that the Jedi get killed and lose XP. Discouraging them as the hunt was designed to do is not the job they believe they have, harassment is the job they believe they have. They feel that a Jedi not grinding is still offensive somehow, as one poster said it is no different then sitting in a house or playing an alt, except it gives them something to do with the character they played for so long some folks like to play their main (Actually play it), they get no reward for going into space no power they aren't working on Jedi XP there, they get nothing that anyone signing up today wont get. Jedi in space just get to play their character, that's all, just play.

lol.............. somewhere i actually think it's funny, a jedi leading a guild, i think if jedi lead a guild all members should be hunted for following the guidance of the jedi, this would make less jedi because there are quite alot of guilds that have jedis leading them and they probally want to go on lead the guild.

@empirehunter are you a imperial? if so go to mos lowlands and see if vuxia is recruiting if you're a rebel try to find some recruiting droids near startports.

But seriously, If Jedi keep running from BH & don't want to get killed cause they'll lose JEDI xp then don't be a Jedi. Simple as that. Otherwise, get out & fight off your attackers, cause running won't make them go away. Besides it seems that there are way to many Jedi in this game as it is.

No I'm not bashing Jedi because I couldn't be one of them. If given the choice to be one or not, I'd choose not to everytime.

There is no reason not to run if you can't win. Save feature on video games were designed to cheat death as it were. You save so you don't have to start over if your tactics are wrong. By your account no one should save a game, or get buffs, or insure items, do you see how flawed your logic is really?
