I think a big part of the problem is that Jedis got used to be able to run around and kill everything and really not have a risk. Sure a random bh could come up and might be able to beat you. But how many times have you seen jedis flashing sabers and powers in starports, cities etc etc. When the jedi first came out if they did that stuff people whacked them. In the era the game is set in Jedi were in hiding. They werent in your local cantina waving their sabers around.
Perma death was always a bad idea. Some people worked way to hard to get a jedi to lose it because of other players. If you get a tef along with vis whats the point of vis. I could see if it made you tef'd so only SF peeps could attack you, but not everyone.
I think when Jedis start flaunting their powers in public a bunch of dark jedi masters should drop in on em and whack em. If they get lucky and get away all the better.
There are some good things and bad things with this pub, but we all know the over powered sl stuff will get fixed.
