First, since i am new to the game and armorsmithing please try not to flame.
I made it to novice armorsmith and made a few sets of bone armor and then tried the mabari and noticed that the mabari had no kinetic protection. Is this correct or did i miss something or do something wrong?
Next, i have plenty of resources now to do the grind but as everyone says, "make a macro". Well i have no clue as to even how to do it. I found a site somewhere once but can not find it again. Any help will be very much appreciated. Thank you.

1) I don't think you're doing anything wrong since you are stuck with using basic cores right now. On recon armor, the energy protection is always higher than the kinetic protection. I've never made basic cores, but with advanced cores (unlayered), the energy protection is 2000 higher than the kinetic protection and 1000 higher than the special protection. So if your materials won't let you get the numbers up high enough, your kinetic might actually be negative, but it just cuts it off at zero. Bone armor is battle armor so it's protection is the same across the board.
2) The macro helps you grind quicker but won't really help you at novice. What it does is activate multiple crafting tools in sequence for you. You just have to click the ingredients. It helps you make the same thing over and over. You use the practice option so you get more xp and don't clog up your inventory. However at novice, they taken the only good thing you had to grind (armor upgrade kits) out of the game. So making segments and cores until you can make ubese shirts seems the best way to go. There are a number of threads on the forums that discuss this.
I used a macro to grind tailor a while back, but a lot of people have been complaining of macros that don't work. I'm not sure what's up with them.

the shellfish tool comes from a quest reward schematic. Talk to the guy in the ditch that runs under the bridge in Anchorhead to get started. There is also another npc in Wayfar (in the tent on the end) that will give you the schematic as a quest reward as well.
Once you get the schematic, you'll need to find an artisan to make you a harvesting tool. There are no use limits on the schematic, so maybe you could trade the artisan the schematic for a crate of 25 tools or something like that...
Not sure about trapping stuff, have had no problems myself.

Fellow Handlers,
I have 2 questions i haven't been able to answer
1. Can a pet be taught another command after the 3 have already been taught or are they permanent. Can they in effect be retaught another more to replace something you already have taught them
2.Can I teach a low level pet a high level command. IE a level 10 Kaduu a level 3 bleed maneuver
Thanks!

1. the teaching is permanent. after u teached a command the pet looses one ability slot. u cannot clear or erase a learned command. when all ability slots are used the pet becomes "fully trained".
2. a natural CL10 has usualy 4 ability slots. its up to then CH how u use these slots. 1 level 3 ability + 1 level 1, 2 x L2 or 2xL1 + 1xL2 or 4 x L1 is possible. as a level 3 ability needs more training points than 3 level 1 u have to do some rollovers more if u choose this kind.

Kur as your signiturestates you area MCH, I have 2 questions for you seeing as how you have the appropriate title.
1. Are you aware of the stickies that answer the questions you ask?
2. Before asking did you try doing any of the above?
You may find my reply rude but those questions are for new players who only recently purchased accounts.
