I'd contact a CSR over it. Maybe somewhere in their records they have it showing as being generated, and they could refund it... although i doubt it because the whole server rolled back, but your is an Exceptional case.

I agree. I think they would count that as an exceptional case. It's almost like someone had just made a jetpack or a piece of mando, then rollback...well....almost. 
They may do something for ya.

damn that sucks, you'll get a whole load more tho so I wouldnt worry too much.

Submitting a ticket can't hurt as much as it already does....good luck getting your problem fixed

I had something similar happen to me, they dug through the records and generated my item.
Was a couple weeks ago.
I had just spent all day searching out the last 4 components so I could RE a nice lv 6 capacitor.
In fact it's the best capacitor I've ever seen, with one exception my lv 10 cap in my Deci, that wieghs like 60k.
AnywayI had just RE-d it and headed off to the starport when all of the sudden *bam*
Bloodfin crashed.
Much to my horror when I finaly got back on my new RE'd cap was gone, as well as all 6 capacitors I had used in the RE.
Of course just as I finished typing out my CSR ticket *bam*
Bloodfin crashed.
Finaly I got back on and got my ticket sent then went about the painfull task of waiting for a reply, while trying to make sure I wasn't doing anything I couldn't drop to speak with the CSR, when *bam*
Bloodfin crashed.
seriously 3 times in less than 2 hours the server crashed, can we please get Bloodfin upgraded to a comadore at least?
In all the components I've RE'd I have yet to get a single firespray fragment, and I've been RE-ing everything I've looted during two trips to master pilot, as well as everything I can buy that's not allready been RE'd. My Deci for example is decked out in all lv 9/10 components that I have RE'd.

This has got to be the most incredibly unfortunate thing that has ever happened to me...
I had just finished grinding to Novice Shipwright, and I reversed engineered a component for the first time. It was an Incom Mark I Reactor.
Out pops a Firespray schematic segment! WOOT! I was absolutely overjoyed at my amazing fortune.
10 minutes later, Bloodfin crashes... 
Rollback, schematic segment gone.
WHY?!

you may have a hard time with this if what you say is correct and the firespray part came from an incom reactor. the firespray schematic parts are only supposed to come from reverse engineering kuat parts. therefore i would assume that getting the firespray schematic section was a bug and i doubt they will give it back to you but you can always try.

No, I believe it was like that for a while in beta. But at the end of beta and into live, the Firespray disks (8 total) come from any RE'd part now, regardless of type, level or manufacturer.
