2 Days ago I followed the link from the SOE website to GamesStop and preorder JTL, (paying a very high shipping fee). I only did this because the SOE site that provides the link says I will get the Flash Speeder.
Today Gamestop emailed me to say I wouldnt get the speeder, this isnt fair, can anyone tell me who I can contact about this within SOE.

Supposedly, it was a limited time deal, so they stopped it awhile ago. Sadly it was beforeI decided to pre order.

There were a limited amount of 'bonus disks' available for those who pre-ordered. This disk allowed you to play Beta JTL and it included the Flash shpeeder. I had heard that the EBgames and Gamestop had run out of the bonus disks for on-line preorders. I made a visit to my local EB store in person, and it did have a few bonus disks still available, so I pre-ordered right there and then and got mine. If Gametop has a real store that you can access, maybe you can take your game receipt with you and see if it has a any bonus disks available. A phone call may spare you a lot of aggravation. Cancel your pre-order online. Call up all stores in your local area asking if they have any beta cd's left. Pre-order from the one that does and get your flash speeder. I did this after the online promotion ended, but many stores still have a couple left.
And while the flash speeder still looks like a yugo to me... I have one and you don't, so stop whining, and try to get it from a retail store. Online orders are, and were, not the only way to get this speeder.

I pre-ordered 2 copies months ago and got my beta disks, but was
brought into beta before the disks arrived. Called EB games just this
week andincreased my order by one and they said that I would receive the
beta disk. Only problem is how do u get the speeder?

the cd-key from the beta disc and the jtl full disc tell soe you are entiteld to it and it activates on your acount.

That sums it up. I am not sure, but hopefully another player can comfirm if you can still activate the bonus disk after the 'deadline' of October 22 (midnight last night). Also, there could be a problemfor those whoregisteredtheir primary account (account actually using the disk for those with multi-accounts) with birthdate information showing age status of under 18 years old. The Bonus disk does state that you must be 18 or older and will not allow access if not.

I installed the beta starting last night, I think it might have been before midnight. I was unable to log in until this morning though as it didn't finish patching till after 1:30 this morning. I added my beta key to my main account this morning around 8:00. I played the beta a bit before the servers went down at around 9:00. I did get to play with my flash speeder and kick around in space a bit. Am currently waiting for the beta server to come back online right now before I play again. (is in loading stage)

Why oh why do we have to put up with rumors that could easily be sorted out if some one just said "Yes that is true, or No it's not "

Don't feel bad I filled out the forums, got the bonus CD shipped, but they sent it to the wrong address, so now they tell me I can cancel and reorder (Not getting the bonus CD since that is over). So I gotta hope that the bonus CD is forwarded to me, and call FedEX and have the JTL CD shipped to me instead of my old address which will delay it. In short I pre-ordered paid for 2 day shipping and it will likey take 2 or 3 more days and I may never see my bonus CD for the speeder.

My god not another complete messup
I orderd the damm game via gamestop 4-5 weeks ago.
And now suddenly there are no flash speeder disks ( or what ever)
Make it so that people can show a *screenshot of the preorder confermation.
And get a speeder from soe this way.

Well this whole pre-order crap has got me so mad that I'm not buying the JTL expansion for any of my accounts, that money instead is going to buy a few copies of WOW and maybe even 1 EQ 2.
The only way to get answer from these guys is to threaten the bottom line.
