gah, I wish I knew how to edit lol. But what I wanted to suggest was making it that faction items could be equipped while covert, stuff like the imp uniform, rebel backpack. None of those items have protection value, so I would not see a reason not to let people equip and unequip regardless if they are overt or covert. Beside the Imperial boots, dress slack and hat look rather smashing with the Imperial Ace jacket =)

nah, any faction items viewable by other players should be overt status only. Wearing a rebel chestplate signifies your affiliation, therefore an imperial could put 2 and 2 together and tell you're part of the rebel alliance and a traitor...

whats funny is I tried to equip a imp uniform on my neutral and it said you have to a "Overt or Covert member of this faction to equip this"
why would it say covert when you cant equip anything covert that is factional lol

Having to be overt to wear a uniform is about the only roleplaying part left of this game right now. No GCW

Well technically the system has been not right from the beginning. Because technically if you are covert you should not show up as an imperial to another imperial or a rebel to another rebel, The idea of covert is its a secret! *shhhhhhhh* So in all honestly I think you should be able to wear any faction stuff regardless if your overt or covert for both sides, gives the feeling of being sneaky, no one truely knowing what side you work for kind of stuff =) Are they an imposter? hmm I dont know..................As the mission impossible theme songs plays in my head.....

Methinks that it is good the way it is. But it would be nice if your Affiliantion if your covert would not show. After all to work covertly is to work in secret. Or did anyone ever see a covert spy in a movie that has the symbol of his affiliation floating above him?
