I was disappointed after I got privateer 2222 cuz after that everything started to become very repetative and frustrating. What I'm hoping for, but I know will probably never happen, are when a planet or citygets taken over by a certain faction a fleet of that faction's ships in the area. I would love to see a bunch of big cruisers flying around. Andwhen a factionwants capture a planet they can (but dont have to) attack the fleet of ships in the system and it would be a big space battle like in ROTJ. At the moment space to me is too empty and needs some cruisers to fill it up. Not those boring fake pieces of junk floating around.
Some ships that can go in the Reb fleets are-
-Mon Calamari Cruisers
-nebulon-B frigates (an anti-starfighter)
-correllian corvetts
-medium transports
-Escort Frigate (SoroSuub Quasar Fire-class bulk cruiser; an example of one of these is the Flurry)
-support fighters
Imp fleets-
-Star destroyers
-Victory Class Star Destroyers
-Carrack Light cruisers
-Lancer Frigate (anti-starfighter)
-Interdictor Cruiser (would prevent any ships aggroed by the fleet from escaping into hyperspace)
-Super Star Destroyer (Occurs when a planet is completely taken over by the Empire)
-Support fighters
And whichever faction had most control over the planet had the bigger fleet and both fleets would have skirmishes every once and a while and a system message would come up to players in each faction saying that they are needed for reenforcements and it would give the name of they systemin whichthe battle is about to occur.
Fighters can also /dock with certain allied cruisers to repair major damage but this will also make the fleet slightly vulnerable.
ihopeit makes sense andIm still not sure how to balance the whole system but this is most of my idea to make space less boring and less empty.

Now in these other post goes into this in more info on this topic However the largest ship we should be hopping for is something like corillian corvette or support frigate.

There should also be a quicker & easier way to go Overt in space besides flying all the way to a factional space station EVERY time you launch ... that's good play time going to waste! Perhaps a system more like they use on the ground - you stay Overt until you say otherwise. At the very least they can extend the communication range for those particular types of stations out from a measly 1km (my cellphone has more range!) to 10km or so.

It would reach boundary to boundary and I cannot imagine the lag

If it was a background artwork like the black holes in Kessel and you saw it moving about in the background then that'd be cool
besides that ship is more intimidating when seen from a distance

A super star destroyer would be pretty tought to render in game. Even on the gamecube they have to make it a whole map (in rebel strike)
