Now that SOE is giving away the product I paid for. I fee that it is our right, as the ones that DID pay for it to either Get a refund, or something of equal Value.

Life aint easy! build a bridge and get over it.
The problem with people like you is that you always look at things as if you lost out. You didnt! You wanted a product and paid for it. Its how it normally works. In this case the offer is a BONUS to some people. Sure they got a better deal then youin some respects but you have been enjoying it for how long now.
You didnt pay more then the RRP. You lost nothing, so stop your whinning. You dont see me having a cry.

I think this might be a good thing, it may lead to more Ground - Space interaction now that everyone has JtL.
They can make JtL part of the GCW and have more mixed quests (Like the Secrets of the Syren) because they aren't confined to only adding things that don't affect the ground game. Surely thats a good thing?

YA! And while we're at it that VCR I paid a hundred bucks for back in the early 90's is only worth 5 bucks now! We should get the difference in money back! Or how about that computer that cost $1000 bucks a few years ago but is only worth maybe half that now.
Get real, things gain and lose value over time. You paid $30 for JTL back when it was worth $30 and now its free so people are paying nothing. It's not your right to get anything back. You paid for a product and you got it.

Next thing you'll see will be people asking a refund on SWG and both expansions because years ago they bought a RPG and it is turned into a shoot 'm up game now, it feels that way from what I've played on testcenter.
I hope they can fix walking because burstrunning as only movement option will destroy the entire experience for the backbone of this game, the role players, entertainers and casual players that go into crafting and make your ships, armor, weapons, houses, furniture, the clothes on your back...

Aren't all the components and skills we've accumulated since JTL launch worth the $20? To think, people are now about to venture into space, starting from scratch.
