TC3 now has a mirror of Ahazi (and I'd asume all the other servers) so I decided to log in with my master pilots and see if anything had changed. Status of my char was from only a few days ago. As a master pilot/master sw I hoped I'd be able to access more content so I tested several things.
Weapon Overload 3......(DRUM ROLL) Still broken!
Appeared to be no change to any droid programs.
Deep space. Imperial Star destroyer now has guns protecting it's shields from the blind spot.
When you get close enough to the ISD it appears that the turrest can fire through the isd and they start firing in all directions (to look like flak?)
Went to talk to Admiral who gives master missions. He gave me a metal. (Hoping he would give master content missions)
Master Shipwright has heavy variant of Tie fighter, Z95, and the freelancer ship. Cost of ship was 18k steel, 6k other parts. Probably similar stats to tier 2 ships?
Cannot make Heavy variant ships atm as they require space resrouces. Unable to build mining laser/mining ship.
Still cannot hyper to kashyyk. Hoping this was a master pilot cert.

You cant make those ships or go to Kashyyk because you are not a ROTW beta tester.

By the way, what was the status of your ship's guns, ordnance, and countermeasures? The cargo bay appears to be creating some conversion issues I could still use more info on.

I had my xwing unloaded at the time so I just grabbed all my gear and loaded it at the Coronet starport. I saw a spot on the manage starship screen that was for cargo bay but could not figure out how to make one or where to get one. But I didn't really look.
In space i had no trouble using my weapons and all my droid programs ran without trouble.
I did not ahve ordnance or countermeasures installed at that time.
The only thing I noticed about my weapons were that one of the sound effects on the 3 guns had changed and when I attacked the ISD I did no damage. I assumed that was because ISD is invulnerable for now.
Oh and when you target subcomponents now there is are 4 little yellow corners (forming a box) that sits over the targeted area and is visible from much farther away. Made it easier to see exactly where the sub component was from far away. Before you have a huge red targeting box with rounded corners and that green aiming helper would pop up when you got close enough.
I was expecting deep space to have updated the Rebel Space station to the medical frigate that sits in endor and was hoping the ships would battle but I guess either they are saving that for launch or aren't ready to do that quite yet.

Why were you expecting that? Did the devs say they were changing it? That would rule

Because deep space imo is a pathetic excuse for master level content. In videos prior to the Launch of JTL there is a scene where the medical frigate is going by the star destroyer and they are firing back and forth with an xwing dodging inbetween them. I was really looking forward to that and still feel pretty bitter that it still isn't in the game.
I really hope this expansion will bring deep space to where it should be and have moving capital ships or at very least another static capital ship instead of that rebel space station.

If you can get your hands on some Veteran Reward resourse kits you can craft the new heavy fighters on TC. From testing that I've seen, they are around 95k mass or so. The heavy Z95 probably won't get used too much, since its single weapon mount has a pretty wide fire pattern, and it doesn't have much of anything over the X-wing. The Heavy TIE and Heavy Scyk will probably get used a lot more. Until people manage to get a Jedi Starfighter II or Grievous Fighter, the Heavy Scyk will be the only viable tiny fighter in the Freelancer arsenal, and the Heavy TIE will give Imperial pilots a lot more mass to work with than they get on an Advanced, while still giving them a ship witha pretty small profile.

Cannot make Heavy variant ships atm as they require space resrouces. Unable to build mining laser/mining ship.

Depends on how agile those ships are, and how many weapon slots they offer. I would have expected 40 to 50K mass for the heavie lights, not 95K...

ya seriously, where you getting your info?
I logged into TC4 i think (the bria version), about the only thing i really noticed about the heavy tie (other than it requires astroid iron and such) is that its a T/ln varient. So id expect maybe 50 to 60K tops, but 95K?! No way.

There's a post somewhere, (it might have been deleted), from a shipwright on Test Center who used some of the veteran reward resourse kits to craft some of the them. He reported the mass as being 95k or so.
