Thread: Stop JTL on Europe servers

In light of the European fiasco I would like to see JTL rolled back on the Europe servers so that those in the UK who will not get the expansion till 5th November can stand a chance of getting a level playing field.
I have two characters on Europe Farstar, one was purchased soley to be shipwright. It seems very unfair that she will be picking up her crafting tool for the first time while many others will have been masters for a week!
Why oh why didnt they hold fire on release for everyone? Games/expansions often change release dates but changing release dates for only certain countries is very unfair.
Please, please, please consider giving usEuropeans a chance on the Europeservers....

Yeh stop it on Euro servers.
Oh yeh and deleting threads is pathetic btw, grow up and admit you made a mistake and redeem yourselfs for this mess....

As there are euro servers for "euro players", I think the with holding of JTL enabling on themwould give the following results..
1not as many wise ass people who have the game in america giving the "calm down it's not that bad" bit while they go off to build ships and fly them...probably on our servers...
2 make UK customers feel quite cared for, making us feel we are indeed paying for a game, made by lovers of the game franchise who understand our needs and our frustrations (kind of reminds me where thunderheart started..wasn't he just another postboard user...although he is american too).
3 Not give the general idea that conearn is about where the big bucks are, and not much esle.
I wouldn't want the servers restricted to only being uk based. But usa playing under our roof should surely mean they live on swg by our rules. I fully cannot see any other reason why that is not fair. I highly doubt the usa players on our servers picked a uk server to start on with their first player. And if they did that is their look out. I didn't start on the usa servers for that fact that everybody would have had a great headstart....and now well what did that matter usa are ahead again...on a server made for me in my own region to play on.
I would like an american player to explain how that is fair.

Its looking like none of the import orders have actually shipped yet (I know mine hasnt) - see the gamestop thread

Can you stick to the word 'Europe' please ...and not talking about UK all the time!! There are more Non-UK European players around!! 
So I.E. Dissable JTL on ALL European servers

Yes definitely all of Europe are suffering but I only know about the UK release date which is why I said UK in my original post. I apologise for not being more inclusive - was not my intention - just wasnt sure of the facts for everywhere else
For those who have got US imports there will be many servers you can play on - its only the few European servers we are asking JTL to be held back on, not all of them!
Seems fairest for the majority of European players

I understand your frustrations, I'd be furious too. However, I just wanted to remind you that the Dev Team isn't the ones responsible for the shipping delay. Don't take it out on them.

Atopic over thepetitiontopic being xfiledover the shipping date beingchanged being a bit questionable, has just been xfiled when it was stated that 100 votes within an hour or so was calculated.
For what ever reason this happened sony, with you not coninciding the release date of JTL on euro servers to be fair...
This won't easily be forgotten. You have damaged yourselves for this.
I think I speak for alot of people to say it would beunwise to do this again...empty threat?
Well the next time this happens I think you will find no posts about this on the forums, just alot of conincidental UK accounts dissapereing from your figures...just as fast as the complaints against you for this evaporate.
Activision it may have been. But however it was, you will be hurt eventually for actions like this, don't doubt it for an instant.

We don't dislike the Americans, don't worry. Most of us are happy you are getting it early and are enjoying it. European servers still belong to SOE so your mistaken by saying your roof, your rules. its still Sony's roof andSony's rules.
I personally think it sucks that you guys cant get the game when the rest of us in the US can, but the complaints have been made and the powers that be have made their statements and I dont think there are any people (European or American) that are going to change their minds.
And by having 5000 posts about the same issue clogging up the boards it keeps them from seeing ingame issues, which mess up the game for all of us. I think the game should be the priority over who gets it first.
