Thread: POI starports, like outside jabbas... who knows of more of them?

you can port in and out of jabbas, but i assume its only if you are in good standing or something. is this the case? i did jabbas themepark so long ago, that im not sure if im in good standing already or what. but i can land there, and i think thats awesome.


so what other starports are available around the galaxies that are either content related, factional, or otherwise removed from the usual cities? anyone know any?

To my knowledge, there are three. One at Jabba's, one at the Emperor's Retreat, and one at some Rebel location or other. Dantooine, maybe?

Jabba's is the easiest to get access to. Any Smuggler or Bounty Hunter who has completed Jabba's Themepark can land there. Also, anyone who flies for the Smuggler's Alliance is given landing permission.

To land at the Emperor's Retreat, you have to do a mission for the Naboo space station. This mission is only offered to RSF or Imperial Inquisition pilots.

I have no clue about the Rebel one. I'm sure someone can tell you about it.

You do not have to have Jabba´s theme park to land at jabba´s palace. but you need the theme park to master smuggler alliance neutral pilot.

Actually, you don't. During Tier 2 of Smuggler's Alliance, the Tatooine station will offer you a mission. If you complete it, you will be given a blank ID for Jabba's Palace, allowing you entrance without doing the themepark. However, I am fairly certain that the themepark is required if you are not with SA, as is being a BH/Smuggler.

the rebel base on dantooine is the 3rd one. you can fly a mission for the dantooine space station as a rebel pilot to get the permission.

The Rebel outpost on Rori as well, though you can travel there from a starport screen, if you want to land from space, you have to do quests for the Rori station. It is a POI as well.

You could travel to Rebel Outpost on Rori before JTL even came out.

The only 3 are Jabba's, Emperor's Retreat, and the Abandoned Rebel Base.

No Alarien is correct. You can LAND FROM SPACE to the Rebel Outpost from the Rori Space Station.


You need to be a Rebel to do a series of missions. Yes you can travel there from ground and Launch from there, but you can't LAND there unless you do the mission.


I find it a great place to go for going overt or On Leave on ground. Jump in, quick sprint to the Npc, launch and by the time you've flown somewhere you are Overt again.

Also you can launch / Travel from any of these even if you can't land at them.


Just keep a ship deed on you, an engine and reactor, take the long drive to Jabba, Dantooine etc. When done there undeed the ship at the terminal, add in the basic components and Travel back to where you parked your main ship!


Empty and redeed the temporary fighter and launch in your main ship! Saves a lot of travelling for Theme Parks if there are no Player shuttleports near by.

Hate to tell you, but anyone can land at the Rebel Outpost without doing any quests. I'm Imp and land there all the time to kill a few overt Reb's every once and awhile.

It's just like the Imp Outpost on Dant or Talus, no missions needed, just easier with JTL. For the record, I used to go there all the time pre-JTL.

I'm a rebel pilot/reb planetside and i went to land on tat the other day and i noticed jabbas palace was an option...i never did a mission or anything like that...i did do the TP though...so i think the TP grants you access.

I'm not sure if you aren't understanding or what SeventhWind, but we were pointing out that to conn the space station and land from space at the Rori outpost, you have to do a quest series for the space station. Anyone can use a travel terminal to get there. That's different.


If you can land there from Space, then you must have either done the quest series, or been bugged or something and not had to.
