I wouldn´t... you see, there´s allways the possibility of the Yacht being fired upon, if that happens and you for whatever reason loose your engine or reactir through this and forget to repair, then you can not launch the sucker anymore, because different to nortmal MP SHips you can not repair single subcomponents... and have to destroy it to make a new one from the deed you got... loosing all the stuff that was in the ship.

Happened to someone i know...

The Veteran Yacht cant be attacked.. and it happened to someone you know? they where full of crap if they lost there vet yacht.

If it can not be attacked "anymore" then that´s something they implemented in ROTW or over CU... but I know for certain that it was absolutely possible to be attacked in the Yacht when JTL was released and from then on forward to at least CU

I was attacked in it many-a-times

The yacht is "attackable" in that another player CAN target and fire upon your yacht, yet the yacht is "invincible" in that it will NOT sustain any damage from the attack. It has always been this way, from day 1 of JTL..."rerelease" and the CU has never changed this situation (not sure what "rerelease" you are talking about anyway...are you considering The Total Experience a "rerelease"?).

PC characters will not "attack" the yacht at all...they never have, ever. The only way to destroy a yacht is to delete it from your datapad. PERIOD.

Having another player "attack" your yacht while you watch from the large plate windows with a few friends is a trully spectacular light show, you should try it sometime.

I also have lived on my yacht and traveled the galaxy in it since JTL went live. As a caveat, any time I use the words "ever" or "never" or "always" I am solely referring to the live game and not to any craziness that occurs in beta or TC. Thank you.

The yacht is indestructible, it does however get damage if you use the escape pod as owner (from what I've heard) in that case you can use a ship repair kit from a shipwright and fix it. So if anyone got their yacht destroyed then by my knowledge it was their own fault.
