Please rate your first day of JTL game play on a scale of 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest).
I'm giving it a 10. The graphics are amazing, the ship handles well, and the low level content is all I could have hoped for. Great job, Devs. Now get on the combat, proffession, and GCW revamps.
What do you think? I'll update this post every so often with the running average.
UPDATES:
As of 0900 EST 10/29/04, the CURRENT AVERAGE is 7.6 ! Still pretty solid.
This is from over fifty responses. I did not include two zero ratings because the raters admitted to not playing the live version of the game. There wasa single0 rating andone 1 rating out of 57 responses. Removing these outliers brings the average up to7.9.
As of 1300 EST 10/28/04, the CURRENT AVERAGE is 8.3 ! Great job Devs!
This is from almost 30 responses, not counting the zero from Loomis because he admitted not playing the live game yet. It does include a 2 with no explanation and a 3 with an explanation. All other scores ranged from 6.5 to 10. If you throw out the outliers, the current average is 8.7. Either way, great job, Devs!

Well I stopped playing in beta, because it was so bad.
But I have to say I am surprised, the game is about 100% now.
There are still some problems, but I would give JTL a 7/10

I would go 8/10.
It isn't perfect but it is a hell of a lot of fun!

8/10 (Great!)
(The only bad thing is the MOBs having superships.)

I'll shoot for an 8 or 9. I too was in beta, and saw how bad it was when it first got started. Boy howdy is this a totally different game now. The ships don't feel like you're ice skating anymore, and the stability overall is much better. Now if they could only fix the lag in Theed, all will be well.

I would also like to congratulate the Devs on JTL. I can't imagine the amount of work that has gone in since beta...it has improved by leaps and bounds. The joystick response is tight, the graphics are amazing and the sound department deserves kudos too.
I could escort frigates and stare at them all day
We've come a long way from ELITE.
Respectfully,

From a true gameplay experience, 10/10. I know this has alot to do with twitch, but I've learned I'm one hell of a pilot :-) All of that aside, when looking at the big picture, JTL added the #1 component to make SWG STAR Wars Galaxies, not GROUND Wars Galaxies. Now all we need is a combat revamp where Melees can't destroy swoops in a single punch, and Jedi either completely wiped out or randomly selected MANUALLY by someone, infused with all new missions and even an ESB expansion, and this game will be what I dreamed of when in Beta over a year ago.
Good Job Devs!

I'd say a 7 or 8. It was a lot of fun my guild co-founder took me up in his Ywing and i got my first kill as an Imperial Pilotfrom the gunner seat lol. *EDIT* Oh btw that's ignoring the fact that my reward was bugged

8/10
One point off because there is no perfect game anywhere. There is always room for improvement. Then another point off because I think JTL needs to influence the GCW. There should be a reason for me to go overt. I expect this to change in GCW revamp.
The game has improved by leaps and bounds from beta. Devs sure pulled in a winner in my book. Gives me great hope for combat upgrade.
