Thread: Should UK players order from Gamestop?

Since it seems every UK store is changig its release date to November should UK players order from Gamestop. They ship internationally but the cost of shipping is high. My question is if any UK people have ordered something from gamestop befre how long did it take to reach you?

If all the delays are real and we will not be getting the game till ???
I was thinking about getting a ticket and zooming off to the states to buy a load for our guild.
If I cahrge £10 delivery I should pull in a tidy profit.

I was wondering how long it would take to get here aswell.
If we do order it from Gamestop then its going to be quite expensive.

I ordered from Gamestop about 2 - 3 weeks ago.
To order from Gamestop it costs around $45 which includes shipping, that works out to be about £25 so its not too expensive.

Don't forget that any DVDs/Games etc ordered from the USA to be shipped to the UK may be subject to an import charge which you have to pay when the package arrives at your door. I seem to remember seeing a figure of £8 as a charge for this.

Yeah that's true, although I think if it's below a certain price you don't get charged.
Not sure what that price is though.

No, if you want to import it from the US, do it through outpost.com. Their price is only US$19.99 plus they charge less for international shipping. The only downside is you can't order more than one copy since it's limited to one copy per household.

It takes about 5 days maybe a week to recieve orders from the US generally I've found, also custums like putting £12 charges on imported games.

I ordered it from gamestop.com
Came to $45 which isn't too bad really. Even though it says 3-5business days.. I ordered SWG a while ago, with the same delivery method on a Saturday afternoon and it arrived the following Monday morning. So im hoping it shouldn't take longer than Friday for jtl.

£12? I'm lucky to live in a free port, no taxes on anything.
