So, I've been collecting pilot prestiege from the day I mastered (about 5 days after jtl went live) and I realized, "Hey C? What the heck is pilot prestiege good for besides going to deep space?" My response was, "Nothing. Absolutely nothing."
Now, I don't know about y'all, but I have 10 million pilot prestiege laying around that I'd like to do SOMETHING with. I don't want the ability to turn it into FS xp, cuz that would just be another grind, and it's not that interesting.
So here's my question to you all (hoping maybe TH or the Pilot Correspondant or someone wanders over here for discussion):

As master pilots, what ideas do you have for other ways Pilot Prestiege can be used? Be realistic, please.

I am sure we will get stuff, just don't be in such a rush, lots of thing on the table right now, just keep flying....I am.

Most of the prestiege has come from trying to loot that damnable Black Sun Helmet. I've been running duty missions with the Deathbringers from the guy in Theed Palace in the back, but zip. Anyone know what I'me doing wrong? Close to 1k deathbringer kills alone.

<--- nearing 70 million prestige. 66 million now, but it can go up a million or more a night depending on if I get the spawns.
Right now my curiousity comes at wondering if it caps at 99,999,999.

They must have something in mind, why else wouldn't they just cap it like other professions. There isn't really a need to have more than like 100K, that would be 3 trips to deepspace, and if you can't kill three ships in deepspace in three trips (to get another trip) you don't belong there in the first place!
I think eventually it might be some "beyond master" ships that you need to have XXXXX prestige points to fly, things like TIE defenders. Or maybe some real components for POB ships, shields with 7500 points or somthing like that, wouldn't that be nice

I think you should be able to spend it to buy the other Tier 4 reward components.

This might be a silly question, but has anyone tried to buy anything at a faction recruiter? Or fromthe guy who gave you your ace mission, I've never been back to him after ace. Just currious.

I'll check, I'll be there real soon, was at 92 last I checked, but then I earned about 30k FP in DS... assuming 50 FP per kill and 7k exp that should put me around 96mil, give or take.

Yep, rounding 80 mill myself....I hope it can be used for something later on despite deep space. *crosses fingers*

Would be cool to use theprestige to buy Star Destroyers and increased TIE support. For rebels it could be Correllian Corvette with X,B,A,Y etc. wing support.

I think they should have somkind of elite, but balanced ship that one can requisition for high amounts of prestige, maybe 20-50 mill or something like that.
