Now, don't get me wrong. I love these things. I think they look incredible. They fly great. It's awesome to keep items on it and bring your friends along, etc.
But don't go into this thinking your gonna tank everything with them. Flying these suckers is a whole different ball game than the single man craft. It takes a lot of team work and know how to be effective in battle. Not only do the people manning the turrets have to be good at aiming, but the pilot also has to know how to keep the ship steady so the men can shoot and still be able to fly evasively so as not to get shot.
Also, if you're going into any serious battles, plan having a 4th man on board to repair all the parts, especially reactor leaks because they'll set everyone on the lower decks on fire.
I'm not trying to discourage anyone here. I love them and I can't wait to have my own! But don't be disappointed when you finally get one of these and you're not kicking butt like han solo. It takes a damn good team to use these things effectively.
Personally, I think it's a much better strategy to have 4 single man fighters in a dire battle. More targets, more guns, and more battle options.

So basicly if you are kicking butt like Han it means you and your crew are that much better and well trained.
The Glass is always half FULL.

I think if they had forward locked weapons they would be a bit more vital. Otherwise I can just see them become novalities, that people will use once in a while.

The MP ships would be decent "general" platforms. Someone who isn't doing anything can look around space and tell people whats going on over vent or groupchat. Best bet is a flight of 4 fighters and a supporting MP ship. I can't wait for some of these types of battles.

Not true.. you just need Teamspeak.. 2 good gunners and know how to fly.
And a good ship with nice turrets.
We terrorized some stuff in a YT1300 on the PVP weekend.
No if anything the Multiplayer ships are the single best part of JTL.
IMO*.

It's a program you run in the background of your computer. Join a teamspeak server with your friends and you can voice chat with each other while you play your game.

he's not saying that some people won't be good at it... heck a good, well organized crew in an MP ship can be more dangerous than all hell. Just that some people think that they'll hop into an MP ship and be instant gods in combat. I intend on shooting down those people.

Trust me that's is far from a challenge to a hardcoretwitch gamer. It may be a challenge to you clicker template macropvpers only who are taking their first steps in to a twitch world. Those who play planetside for example things like thisare second nature.
First of all, I am a hardcore twitch gamer.
Second, there's no need to throw around insults and start a flame war here.
Third.. there is no third. ![]()

There were MANY, MANY multipassenger craft in planetside. Both air and ground vehicles. And it will be seond nature to many players who have been in a similar situation.
The key is having good communication skills with a good team.
And practise. Don't get your YT and try to go in Kessel....take your time, and find a good crew/strategy that works.
